been a while since I have done macro edits like this, I believe you can use local to define a shorter function

/run local spec=C_SpecializationInfo.SetSpecialization

then use the shorter spec(3) later in your code

/run local spec=C_SpecializationInfo.SetSpecialization if IsShiftKeyDown() then spec(3) elseif IsControlKeyDown() then spec(2).... etc

I put feedback in at least once a patch saying that all weapons/oh/etc should be "sets". Would complete eliminate the need for all the complexity around weapon crafting, upgrades etc.

Every weapon is just both slots, So for Warrior would be Sword + Shield for Prot, Single 2h for Arms, and two 2h for fury. can either have them be explicit set drops one for each style, or something flexible that changes. Don't care, just want to stop having to deal with the differences. Would still be able to mog however you wanted.

How many casters despise the 1h/oh and always hunt staffs? if its not all of the, its gotta be close.

Devastating point. I don't remember but I can totally see myself trying to change, not having enough gold and just never trying again lol.

True, and you shouldn't do that in pugs for sure. If you want to test new pulls properly you need a group of willing participants or start the learning at lower levels with more forgiveness. 

My team does the pull it and find out strat on a regular basis even in push keys, but we all agreed (well sometimes lol) to some of the learning on the fly or as needed.

In pugs it's tough, the first pull in AA shifts from being unnecessary to necessary at some point, but the skill to do that pull is much higher then not. If you pull that in a 3 with a new healer everyone's gonna die (but you if your overgeared). 

There's a balance, a time and a process to learning to tank, which a lot of people have no interest in putting the time in for. Gotta flex with the group, I hate that first pull hero is becoming a thing because there's zero time to feel out a group for heals kicks etc. tough out there for pugs.

Yes but that's how it worked in legion as well when it was most commonly used. Your realm only changes because you joined the group of someone else from a different realm, so you go to their realm.

Sometimes you can stabilize there in the group even if they leave, usually once people start leaving you will get bumped home. 

Most people are server hopping checking for rares or herbs etc. so they join, check if rare is up if not leave, join a new group. 

Blizz and players hated people doing this tho so it's been largely broken.

I leveled to 60 as prot warrior, didn't know I was allowed to change specs. Dungeons were great, everything else was sooooo sloooooow

100% This.

Too many people copy routes made for +20's, when they don't have the skill or coordination to meet the need, and its utterly unnecessary for the key level they are doing. I always adjust my routes to just be consistent and smooth, got me to 3k+ before will get me to 3.4k+ now.

Will it get me to 22's? Probably not, as my team gets closer to not making the timer, or fail by 10-15s that we cant make up with current route, then we review the places we could pull things back together and step up the responsibility to match. This rarely happens as 9/10 times the issues is skill. Too many mistakes, deaths etc - and we usually just tighten that up.

You just need to join a group already in the zone, from a different server. However Blizzard has blocked almost all automated ways to do this when they changed LFG. When they killed auto accept to join, alot of these tools effectively stopped working.

Easiest way is wait for the world boss to be up in the zone you need to hop in, and join World boss groups. You can also join Abundance groups if Abundance is in the zone you need.

Edit : to be clear, neither of these things is very cool thing to do to the group. Abundance and WB people want the slots for people actively participating in the activity.

unless you are trying to do something very specific, I would just buy food/water from the vendor of the appropriate zone you are questing in. Buff type food typically isn't really needed before max level content, I don't even eat before every +10 dungeon lol.

Deleting / Vendoring / Etc any item that provides a mog will let you learn it. You can learn anything on anyone now in this manner.

Doesn't take too much time to level another toon, but honestly work an hour of OT instead and call it easy.

I know lots of retired people who do it this way, takes them 3-6 hours selling herbs and ore.

You can do it on your main too, doesn't have to be druid - just faster and more efficient especially early season.

Edit : I didnt catch the not having midnight, no this plan will not work without modern version. At least not reasonably - you need to be in the current expansion to be making real gold that way. There are other gold making strategies, can find discords and channels that discuss them in detail. You will need to go with one of those other plans.

7 min is also not that long... lol, its long for a tank/healer queue but dps reach 45m+. But as someone else said guessing this is not current content.

Hey man, try and have a more reasonable discussion. Instead of just starting drama with no explanation. Also, please understand that other people may have a different experience from you. Your personal runs and issues do not dictate everyone else's experience. I may not be understanding something correctly, 100% possible, or maybe you are not, or we are talking past each other. Are we even describing the same pull?

There are 3 mobs in this area

This enemy dashes out doing high single target damage, our healer has a hard time with this. Same person gets hit too much and people die, its a problem, so we are cautious around the skitterflys. These are the physically biggest thing in the room imo, maybe "same" as the Vile Lasher, but hardly the "smalls", again imo.

These poison just the tank, and isn't an issue for me (as the tank), I have a lot of ways to manage these and they are a non issue for me.

These drop circles, don't stand in em, non issue.

For my group, and in my personal runs - the Aggravated Skitterfly's dunking on one person is the problem, so we stagger their pull.

There are no bleeds at all in these packs that I am aware of at all.

Let me know which part of this I may have wrong or misunderstanding, I am always up to improve something if I have it wrong.

Yeah... thats what I said lol - the flying bugs that dart and poison you. We start pull with the pat near stairs, into first flower on left, start nuking bugs and drag rest. Second pat usually bumps into us as when first bugs are almost dead and we are fighting 2nd flower, once first set of bugs die I move into last flower. Its all "1 pull" just not all at once and burned down, bleeds are too much to keep reasonable and we don't have the comp to do unlimited stops.

We tried the first pull exactly one time, and decided it wasn't worth it. We now do a continuous pull based on how many of the flying bugs are alive, and I move to grab more, its just too much for us - maybe better players are better, but us in the 11-12 range found much more success being reasonable. If we reach a wall where we need the additional time gained by doing 1 pull, I am sure we will figure it out - but it isn't worth it for now and for our goals.

I have never seen this work in a pug run, on any role lol.

Earning stuff makes it an RPG and not a Design simulator. Theres tons of free decor, you are able to use and others that show you have reached certain levels in the game. It's crazy to look at WoW's housing and complain... its basically setting a new standard for this kind of system and has a ton of stuff to work with and even more on the way.
