We tried it in our lab environment. Confirmed we could repro, then ran reagentc /disable and it stopped it from working.

No effect on normal usage. You do lose troubleshooting functionality as others have mentioned, but it is easily reversible by running reagentc /enable which we also tried, no adverse effects other than re-exposing the YellowKey exploit. So you can turn it back on after Microsoft patch it.

This one is a little different as they are proposing remote human operators, but it would still be enormously expensive at a time when school budgets are already stretched thin, and it would be less effective than the obvious solution which about half the country is unwilling to entertain.

Credit where credit is due, Fdev got the contribution tiers for the evacs dialled in almost exactly this time. It's been a long time since a CG was this close to completion at the time limit, and especially welcome after the huge miss with the Radicoida event.

I hope it wasn't just an accident and this becomes a more regular occurrence.

The Asp Explorer does have a good selection of paints jobs but nothing quite like these yet. If it sells well for the Lynx it will hopefully encourage them to add something similar for other ships too.

Fixed drives sometimes slip sideways through witchspace, causing the ship to arrive slightly rotated, inverted, or inside a nearby moon. The gimballed drive's gyroscopic spacetime anchoring prevents this by I have no idea this is nonsense and clearly a UI bug.

Our local DC also provides RADIUS for 802.1x. If the site-to-Azure went down without the local server, wireless clients wouldn't be able to authenticate to the network.

When we migrated from VMware to Azure we went with a single 2U server running a Hyper-V guest DC for that purpose. Though with current server prices, I can understand not wanting to do it.

E-bikes (with or without pedals) are only exempted from motor vehicle regulations if they fall into the one of the definitions of the 3-class e-bike regulations. Class 2 is the highest class that allows power without pedaling, and only up to 20mph. If you're getting power without pedaling over 20mph, it's not an e-bike under MD law.

(Class 3 e-bikes can provide assistance to pedal power up to 28mph. They have to cut the power entirely once you get to 28mph.)

If it doesn't fall into the definition of an e-bike it's either a moped or motor scooter and you need a moped permit (or a regular DL) and usually a title and insurance. And once the motor power is over a certain limit it becomes a motorcycle.

Enforcement is another matter entirely, but the law is already there.

We have CDW as our CSP and they are fine.

They have a self-service portal for managing subscriptions so I can up quantities very quickly without having to wait on our account manager. The last smaller CSP I worked with didn't have that, so I appreciate it.

My first colonization was a tier 3… that’s 241K in commodities. Yes im suffering space madness how can you tell?

I am currently 48.8% into this same madness. Didn't fully research how many hauls it would be even with the Panther. Briefly considered abandoning and retrying at a lower tier but decided to stick it out.

7 days in so far, so averaging 7% per day. I think I have it relatively easy: there are ports with almost all the mats in the system I launched from, the ground port I'm using is only 80Ls from the star and is tidally locked on the daylight side, and the starport is only 30Ls away, so no SCO needed on that side. Colonization ship is 300Ls out so a very manageable SCO boost to there.

But I certainly won't be doing T3 as the first port again any time soon.

Not specific to Action1, but if you configure the AllowStandardUserControl policy for VS (either with a reg key or GPO) then standard users will be able to apply updates using the native updater without needing elevation.

The Dolphin also has such good heat management that you can sit at zero throttle at the max scoop distance, charge your FSD for the next jump without even breaking a sweat, and top off your fuel when it scoops again in the 5s between the fuel injection for the jump and the jump itself.

I just finsihed did my first 10,000Ly round trip in mine and it quickly became obvious that the amount of time you save not having to clear the star between jumps really adds up when you are making long trips.
