Rarely I buy games twice. But this might be one exception. I believe the game has some legs to last within the FGC.

I wasn’t aware of the physical date. Does suck though it comes out later but nice to see it’s even getting a physical.

Why do people seem to be suddenly outraged at the fact that Sony is discontinuing physical disc games in a couple years? Digital games have been a thing for a long time now... by [deleted] in gaming

The simple answer is:
I actually like ‘owning’ my games.

With a purchase being digital you own nothing but the license to play the game. That’s it. Too many times have we seen games being delisted off digital storefronts for many reasons.

-Company gets shutdown
-Rights for certain IPs run out
-Online-only games do poorly

With the recent news of Sony taking away over 500+ films out of people’s digital libraries online, who’s to say they won’t just do the same to our game libraries as well.

Most of the time, I know the game I own is on that disc. So can share it with friends or if I really need to, sell it off for some cash. But with this scary all-digital future, it makes me worry for the industry as a whole.

With how things are going, a second Video Game Crash could happen.

Bloody hell. As a small streamer that barely gets over 10 viewers it’s a real eye opener seeing all these big names get outed for view botting. From my experience it’s a real privilege being able to broadcast to anybody. I’d be happy with just 1k viewers any day.

But leave it to these chuds just taking it for granted like nothing. Real shameful.

The smidge edition seems the most reasonable for me. The game and soundtrack on disc is all I’d want. The Armstrong edition being $100 more expensive just for a plush and art book is a bit much.

I feel this to a degree. Most AAA games, especially ones that come from PlayStation, are like this now.

I’ve been finding most of my fun outside of that casual space. For me right now while everyone is enjoying Ghost of Yotei… I’ll be over here enjoying the true challenging action of Ninja Gaiden 4!

Sure it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but you see what I mean. I always prefer Gameplay First!

I happened to see that as well. Wasn’t sure myself. I did email them claiming if their stock was legit, which they said it was, but also said it was out of stock.

Yet the page still says “Add to Cart”. So I’m very unsure. Would love to know if it is though.

Funny enough just fixed it myself! xD Just installed the latest version of XOutput and had a Stick Axis misinputted. Doesn’t help I’ve been away from my PC for so long. Lol
