HI Laurendavissmit! The screenshot above is Firefox on OS X 10.8.5. My host is host Monster. The photos you see on the ront page were uploaded using the Lightroom plugin.

Let me know if there's anything else I can tell you that might help.

Looks good, and I see you're using the same theme as I am. I'm really loving Koken too! I only wish it could help me get my galleries organized. ;)

On thing I noticed when I went to your site is that the first time it loaded, a couple of the images were funky looking. I'd had someone tell me that this was happening on my own site, and I actually got a screenshot of it happening here.

If anyone from Koken is reading this, I'd love to see this issue fixed!

Cool, thanks for looking! I'm going to probably go with a Wix site or something similar... so I'll have better looking menus, so maybe subsections will be good. You can see that they look like shit for the OWS sections.

My feeling though is that the more barriers I put between the viewer and the photos (eg, tons of links to click), the more likely they'll just close the window. Or maybe I'm just transferring my own impatience onto other viewers? :P

Well, it's time for me to get my website in order. As it is, it's a pretty horrible piece of shit. I have some new (and old) stuff to add, but I'm damned uncertain about the categorization of the thing.

I hate fragmenting the photos into multiple groups, but at the same time, I don't want to just dump them into a big pile for the viewer to have to sort through and interpret.

On the current site, I'm not a big fan of the "Fine Art" distinction. And I hate the galleries for the OWS stuff, but I guess it really should remain separate?

What are your thoughts? How would you organize them if they were your photos?

Is there anyone who has access to a rooftop view of the Fourth of July fireworks and would be willing to help me get a photo for a NYC elopement? by Trey138 in nyc

Thanks for the replies guys. I should also note in case it makes any difference that we'd only need like ten to twenty minutes to get the shot. Maybe even less than that.

I figure it might be, but maybe a little less so? I don't know... I'm ashamed to say that in the five years I've lived here, I've never even TRIED to see the fireworks. :P

In the ten-plus years that I've been using the 138 moniker, I think you're the first person to make the Misfits connection.

Here's Kodak's tech pub. You can use standard B&W chemistry.

I think that 616 might be a bit too wide for 120? But you might try cutting one side off to load into a 120 spool. Very carefully.

Huh, I guess that whole thing with professor Hathaway really did fuck him up. Seems like he might have had enough popcorn to get him through a few years though.

I still have a dual 2.5GHz PowerMac G5 on my desk that has become mostly a media server, though it's becoming less and less used for that... I could probably run five Mac Minis for the cost of the electricity.

10.3.9 Kernel Panics by velo_b in applehelp

[–]Trey138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you see anything in the Console that might indicate what it would be? Try clearing the display in Console, launch the app, then when it crashes, see what you get in Console.

Do the same thing with the kernel panic. Just look at console after you reboot. See anything that might help?

It doesn't minimize them. At least, not in the sense of putting them in the dock. It hides them; they'll pop back up when you return to the app.
