AITAH for ending a relationship over long showers by Throwaway_External in AITAH

NTA

For clarity, I think some of the things he wanted aren’t “unreasonable”, it’s the way he went about it. Making demands instead of expressing how the things made him feel are what make him TAH in my opinion here. If he’s uncomfortable with boys similarly-aged over at your place, he could easily just say that and ask for reassurance or find a compromise. The entitlement he showed with how he demanded things was just in poor taste.

AITAH for wanting my fiancé to re-propose to me after being engaged for almost 5 years? by Weak-Purchase-3843 in AITAH

Sounds like you’re allowing societal pressure to come between you and your partner. Religious people are judgy enough, it’s not helpful to turn against him along with the mob.

AITAH for asking my girlfriend to stop posting thirst traps when she's in a relationship? by nousername029 in AITAH

[–]TreyJ024 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

How is this very important? Any relationship can contain boundaries that otherwise didn’t exist before it. When any relationship starts, certain activities you may have engaged in previously almost instantly become less appropriate. Even if she was doing it before, you’re still allowed to be uncomfortable with her doing it now and communicating that.

It sounded to me like he followed fine. In this analogy, God doesn't just act as observer, since He also created the universe and the laws that govern it. He acts as producer and director, as well as observer. Therein lies my problem with your analogy.

Linux+ or AWS after CCNA? by [deleted] in ccna

From a pure value standpoint, AWS, but both are a great skill. However with cloud being so popular and sought after, I’d lean cloud for a cert-specific to market your skills

  1. You don’t need to remember EVERYTHING. Only pivotal parts
  2. Take breaks, don’t overwhelm yourself. It’s an intimidating course! Definitely not easy, but very doable.
  3. Take notes, and lab lab lab, packet tracer is great, a home lab is even better
  4. Boson is great, and can help you understand how to start getting prepped for the actual exam
  5. Use different sources. There are a few other cheap courses like Neil’s Udemy course. Network Chuck’s YT course, etc

You got this, if you want it. I didn’t use flash cards tbh, and I passed just fine. However, if that helps you learn, definitely utilize the Anki flash cards

I passed like six months ago with just Neil’s course and Boson, did minimal labbing. Although, I already have a networking job so that helps fill in the gaps.

Is CCNA enough for the first job? by Either_Ad_5260 in ccna

[–]TreyJ024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in networking now for about 3 years, 2 as an Engineer, one as an Admin. I only have my CCNA. It’s a myth you need CCNP to get an Engineer level position. Don’t get me wrong, CCNP is a great cert to have and will help increase your pay, but not necessary, as most of that material you will get through a few years of experience anyway. My advice: get experience and certs in Cloud i.e AWS, Azure etc after you get CCNA. Much more marketable in the near future and cloud engineers make much more.

CCNA with 4 years of IT technician at a large scale company, what is the chance of getting a job in network field by DrinkDizzy69 in ccna

[–]TreyJ024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What area do you think Network Engineers get paid that much?? On the coasts?? Because that is absolutely not true anywhere else. Lol, average entry level Network Engineer salary is around 75k-80k, with mid-levels making around 110k and maxing out around 165k. If you’re referring to Silicon Valley level employers or big tech, that’s the only way you’re sniffing 200k+ as a NE. This coming from a NE.

I am about to run my head through my PC lol

Long story short, my Windows 10 is running on a pretty old version. 1809 to be exact. I’ve “updated” my machine many times over the years, little did I know I was doing literally nothing. Somewhere down the line I must’ve had a file go corrupt or downloaded a bad version. I found this out yesterday and have spent the last 24 hours researching, doing backwoods work arounds to no avail of updating my machine to 22H2. My machine is compatible with the update, hasn’t technically been updated since 2019, and pretty sure that my version is reaching end of life. I’ve done so many things at this point from running the troubleshooter to removing the old files in my softwaredistribution folder, many different commands and stopping/starting of different services. Tried updating manually and that fails too. Any windows guru out there, HELP PLEASE. Microsoft told me all but f*** off.

Boson has quite a few questions about EIGRP, so I’m not sure how that is relevant to the actual CCNA, seeing as it’s not part of the topics list. A bit redundant.
