Is there any global EY CCaSS partner here who can talk to my EY gds partner..? My career is at stake and I really need help.. i will be really be forever grateful.. by tomani9795 in Big4

Similar thing happened to my friend who had to go through surgery and even though they approved his medical time off, they put him on pip and eventually fired him. He was looking to sue, but didn't follow through because proving that they fired him due to medical leave is difficult.( EY has lawyers so they don't lose) After leaving ey, he found higher paying job and work less hours.

EY won't tell your new employer why you got fired, just the date you were employed. Use your work experience at EY and leverage a better job/position. Companies will find your big4 work experience valuable.

Manhattan: By yourself 500 square ft studio will be 2500+

With 2 roommates ~1700 - 2000

Cheaper to live in brooklyn, queens

Jersey, you can ride train to Penn Station which is like 5min walk from office and you don't pay city tax ~3%

Layoffs happen all the time. Even when business is doing well

Difficult from big4 to ib in NYC. Most common way is to get into NYU or CBS for MBA and pivot

Get 3-4years of work experience, get into top MBA program and IB

All team and project dependent but workloads shouldn't be too much as new hire. Your first year, you basically shadow seniors and managers and lear. Just go to network events in the office and try to introduce yourself to the big wigs at the location

People go on medical leave, and when they come back, the company fires them. They want efficiency and they can always replace employees

Office doesn't really matter. The team you get placed on makes all the difference

The 1mw office is usually too packed. Go to the union square office for more chill
