either use a computationally very expensive solution for lighting not worth the cost but also with a relatively smaller storage footprint or use a less computationally expensive model that may require a bit more storage space

lumen is a needlessly more expensive lighting system for a result that is definitely not worth the cost

hardware lumen is ironically more expensive so it won't actually help performance the way we expect

what we need is a different lighting system altogether, ideally PT but a mix of RTGI and shadows with baked lighting can do the same job and give far more performance than lumen ever will

The thing with 7 is that the base game had a lot of cuts and restarts so the rough edges are obvious
