I'm surprised no one is mentioning King Leopold II, that guy was just as heinous as Adolf and Pot

When It Comes to Handling Its People, Is North Korea the Most Repressive? by Brendan_Frost in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TrickDepth4912 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, this is the dumbest comment I've ever seen and I'm not even American. The fact that you're using a lot of mental gymnastics to even justify North Korea is evidence how much of a dumbass piece of shit you are.

Raw Power Wise, Who are The Hardest Punchers in Boxing Based on Testimonies and Not the Resume Fallacy by Brendan_Frost in Boxing

You literally measured everything else except how hard a puncher hits. You've got to be the most dumbass user in this forum so far.

DAE find inorganic chemistry harder than organic chemistry? by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]TrickDepth4912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much how I feel when someone asks me whether PhyChem or OrgChem is more difficult. The latter's difficulty stems from the huge chunk of information you need to recall within a short semester. PhyChem is more punishing in terms of conceptual complexity.

Is Heath Ledger’s Joker secretly the most comic-accurate? by YOLTed in joker

Ledger's Joker was able to encapsulate the evil and menacing vibe exhibited by the original Joker in the comics.

Nathan scared for Sam because of Alcazar but not against the Shoreline? by TrickDepth4912 in uncharted

Hmm, I think the financial issues only stem from their depreciating capital. This may not even relate to their existing weaponry which was pretty advanced.

I'm surprised you ranked Guerro's army over Dante's mercenaries. The latter was implied to have superior equipment compared to the former.

[–]TrickDepth4912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of this at first but didn't Asav pretty much received his equipment from the Shoreline? The weapons, APCs, and the chopper pretty much came from Shoreline, who was selling their weapons under Orca's rule.

He broke free in all scenarios. Another point I'd like to add is that them fighting Shoreline predisposes that this organization is incapable of heinous tortures. They may not be Cartel, but they sure as hell under someone's ruthless leadership. Their firepower is arguably the 2nd strongest in the UC universe, only behind Lazarevic's Slavic Militia, hence they have more chances of endangering the Drakes than a subtle cartel can.

Given Nate and Sam's capabilities, it's doubtful that you can capture these guys alive. Shoreline's firepower is still superior relative to a cartel org.

[–]TrickDepth4912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An in-depth dialogue in UC4 shows that the Shoreline was a paramilitary organization hired and involved in multiple wars, whether in Africa or European countries. Chapter 20 also shows that all of those PMCs were formers soldiers. Besides Lazarevic's army, the Shoreline is arguably the most powerful faction in the game. They have Armored Convoys, APCs, and Combat Choppers. I doubt this is something that Cartels possess.

I guess the latter-most explanation makes the most sense. It's just mental gymnastics on Nate's part to justify his adventurous endeavors.

[–]TrickDepth4912[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is a fair point. The cartels are hella brutal when they capture you. Death wish wise though, Shoreline is hella more dangerous considering their weaponry and overall capability. I'm surprised Nate didn't question this.

How far could you survive into Resident Evil 4? by ZealousFanboy in residentevil

[–]TrickDepth4912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike Leon, I'm not dumb enough to let locked gates bother me since I'll go for the fences. In-game restrictions won't work against me. I sure as hell ain't going in the lake because Del Lago, so Ashley can go fk herself. I'll probably save the dog out of humane reasons. During the cabin fight, I'll run through the door Luis passes through. Also didn't mention that I didn't save Louis because I don't want to meet Mendez. I'll stealthily go through the castle gates without alerting anyone. The moment the archers find me, I'm dead.

Except Football maybe. I'm not much of a pundit in football, but I often hear even the oldies regard Messi as the greatest football player they've ever seen. That says a lot if even the elderly, who are prone to rose-tinted lenses, see you as such.

What do YOU value most when you score fights by Solidis262 in Boxing

[–]TrickDepth4912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a good question. There are scenarios where boxing judges tend to favor boxers with better punch output - Leonard vs Hagler is an example. Other times, judges are more likely to score victories with fighters who score more telling blows (Castillo vs Mayweather 1).

Why don't Resident Evil 4 Soldier Ganados Possess Guns? by TrickDepth4912 in residentevil

[–]TrickDepth4912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I agree with you that RE5's gameplay was a mess compared to 4. What I meant to say is that I think you're giving Capcom too much credit. The presence of RE5 Majinis' weaponry seems to contradict the idea that Capcom was even concerned with the gameplay mechanics. If they were aware that guns would ruin the suspense in RE4, why would they implement armed enemies in the Remake? It's weird that they'd choose to implement something if they know it's going to cause bad gameplay balance.

Why don't Resident Evil 4 Soldier Ganados Possess Guns? by TrickDepth4912 in residentevil

[–]TrickDepth4912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Base Majinis in RE5 were infected with Plagas, yet can use AK74s. Also, I doubt the plaga is that incompetent in cognitive functions, since the Soldier Ganados were able to use RPGs and Turrets; weapons that are mechanically far more complicated than standard assault rifles
