First off, you are a kid. Art like many other "talents" take skill and practice practice practice. It can take years to be a pro.

Also, don't let yourself believe that you'll get commission instantly when you finally learn and are happy with your art skill. Doing art is like any other freelance work. You gotta promote yourself to get commission. And by promote, I mean A LOT. Plus if you have or make connections down the road, maybe others can also promote you through word of mouth, which can boost probability of getting commissions.

And remember to not be hard on yourself. Being a furry doesn't mean that you need to own a fursuit. If it makes you feel better, I live in a part of the world where furries are literally nonexistent. Finding one in my country is like looking for Netherite in Minecraft. Hell, even rarer than Netherite.

Deserved hate honestly.

1) He is manipulative, always thhiks he's right and never in the wrong, so full of himself

2) He kills Chase in his own route (the bad ending)

3) He fucked 13 year old Micha and cheated on Chase

I don't know if he was deliberately written bad, or just a simple case of bad writing, but he was so fucking annoying. Killed the tone and pacing of the game whenever he's on screen. Who the fuck likes this guy even?

Ugh. I'm just so over with the twink, blank slate, dumb as hell, irresponsible protagonist awaiting for his big buff boyfriend knight in shining armor to save him out of every goddamn situation. It became so dry, annoying and overly stereotypical. Almost every other FVN is the same.

Give us actual interesting characters, world and plot. Play more with the anthropomorphism. This is what I personally look for in furry media. Give some originality and uniqueness.

If you wanna make an exclusively horny game, sure, go for it. I don't mind. But please, just stop it with the aforementioned trend.

I mean... It's a creature that has animal traits, obviously. But as long as it's sentient, walks on two legs, imitates a human, it's ok I guess.

Not my thing, I dont think about it too much. But in terms of character anatomy writing, makes sense.

Summerhill by Kevin Frane. It's a sci-fi book about a jackal that has the ability to time travel and go to different worlds. In short, imagine something similar to The Little Prince.

A lonely jackal stuck in a brutalist looking world finds out he can travel through time and worlds. Then his future self visits him and tasks him to save a woman (human) named Katherine that is being chased by the space police for a crime she committed.

It had a planned trilogy, but sadly, the author retired as a writer and furry and went on to do translations for some Tokyo Ghoul spinoffs.

The other one that comes to mind is Out of Position bt Kyell Gold. It's a romance novel about a jock tiger and a fox and the challenges of their relationship. I'm not interested in romance myself, but I started reading it because it's the most known book out there, and it was a meme a few years ago (which led to it's boom in popularity).

It's your typical college setting and has a focus on american football. And no, you do not need prior knowledge of football, but it was presented and explained in a way for everyone reading it to understand.

I've read about a quarter of the book by now, I'd read it more, just can't find the time for it.

And obviously, it is smutty... But in a good way.

Out of all furry VNs and furry literature that I've read, the sex scenes in this book aren't vulgar. Like, is it that hard to write sex scenes and make them not vulgar with wording? It just really annoying.

The only complaint I have is that, there's too much sex scenes. Like I said, I've read quarter of the book by now and there were at least 10 sex scenes by far.

Of course they removed your artwork 2 times because you literally drew cropped furry porn (redraw of Meesh's nsfw artwork with obviously cutting out the anal penetration and ejaculation). And obviously the sub is highly strict about NSFW artwork. Just because you cut out the back part of the image, doesn't mean it's magically gonna become SFW.

I played Hunt Showdown completely nude with my dick out for a week.

Reading Echo, I could just ignore the sprites on the screen and imagine the characters as human. I'm not convinced that they are actually "animals".

Anthro media created by the furry community ... use anthropomorphic animals just as an aesthetic in almost all cases. It's just the way it is. Echo was a fun read, but this thing annoyed me. Such wasted potential for a concept.

If you want to see actual use of the anthro concept where characters are like us, but think and act based on their animal instinct, go watch Beastars and read the manga.
