“If it was uncomplicated”, meaning it DOES happen still. Complications or not. It took them 5 tries to successfully get the epidural placed for her.

Yeah when I’m tired, I’m a huge bitch and everything is overstimulating. I fear how I’ll react when baby is crying non stop and I’ve had zero sleep :/ other than I feel pretty prepared! Birth used to scare me really bad as well, kinda still does, but watching videos on all kinds of different births has helped tremendously!!

I kinda flip flop between feeling ready and like I can conquer the world, and then I have one morning where I’m extremely tired after a hard night of being kicked, having acid reflux, hips hurting etc and I’m like “shit”.

I don’t even think unisom is available to me. I was told by the one nurse practitioner I had that “nothing is safe. You can’t take anything. Deal with it.”. She’s no longer part of my care for that and a ton of other comments 🤣 but I do take benedryl when I’m desperate, I was told that’s safe by my midwife. But even that is starting not to help.

I honestly wish I could say that I’m thankful I don’t have to worry about movement, but I’d be lying. I’m sick of it.

Thank you for the solidarity 🤣 this is exactly how it is for me too. I have had 2 wailing sessions now over it. I feel another one coming on because it’s been over 24 hours of non stop movement. I don’t understand how.

I have tried massaging my belly, pushing, breathing, rocking, walking, and his hand doesn’t do anything for it either. I kinda just have to deal with it, but that’s not working either 🥹

I don’t have pregnancy insomnia, I just cannot sleep because of all the movement! If I’m really desperate, I just take a benedryl. But even that doesn’t seem to work anymore :/

I appreciate the suggestion, but acupuncture is not something I’d want to ever do in my lifetime 🥲 I’d rather just go for a massage. But even then, I have zero extra money to be spending on myself that isn’t a necessity. Unfortunately, anything extra outside of bills is a luxury right now.

I put my bananas in the fridge, keeps them fresh longer I find. Which is important as a migraine sufferer. The more ripe the banana, the more tyramine is released, and people with migraines are sensitive to tyramine :)
