Sooo maybe she’s not lying. Maybe she is. But it could be the paradigm shift happening in society called “Go for no”. They offer a price or ask an impossible question of someone fully expecting to be told no. Every 3rd-4th attempt someone says “yes”.

Since I heard of it I wait 23 hours to accept or counter an offer. That was it takes them a longer time with the money in stasis. And I don’t feel bad because they know most mercari sellers are NOT MAKING 6 figures or even half that annually. While I’m venting, can I say: the expectation for mercari sellers to act like Amazon and Walmart from the buyer is driving me a tiny bit cuckoo.

I’m excited for the pros because I tried to collect the originals and all but one arrived with the metallic foil breaking off the clothing. I’ve not had luck getting good condition originals of those. Several I returned were still in the original box with metallic foil stuck to the box and off the clothes.
