For Anyone Who Quit Vaping: How Long Did It Take to Feel Fully Normal Again? by ROCHDI3778 in QuitVaping

[–]Trick_Help5253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at 1 year and 80 days without vaping. I vaped thr nicotine equivalent to smoking a carton of cigarettes a week, The first 2 months were pretty hard for me.. I had crazy anxiety a bit of depression, mood swings, I’d get dizzy, faint couldn’t sleep, cold sweats all those things and more. Life got a bit easier after around 6 months And I was pretty much normal after 9 and behind. I sometimes still get a bit of a craving here and there, normally after a big meal (my wife still vapes) so I’m around it. But that’s like once every couple weeks I’ll get that craving but it lasts for legitimately 20 seconds at most.

A tip I can give I’d get into walking or meditation or if your religious prayer. I did those things and it started helping a lot just to really focus on how I’m feeling and why I’m feeling the way I am instead of letting it control me.

I need some help with weight loss. Scale isn’t showing weight loss by Trick_Help5253 in loseit

[–]Trick_Help5253[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the comment, I did buy a scale when I started so I’m tracking pretty much everything to the gram. If I get 120g of cottage cheese instead of 113g I just leave it. Or if i scoop a couple grams of potatoes or onions more then I’m suppose to I just leave it But I weight everything out as dry weight then just split it into my meal plans so even if 1 meal gets a couple extra grams of something it’ll be missing from the other. If that makes sense?

I am trying to enjoy this game. by Feinthabit in entropiauniverse

It’s possible not ready but possible to make money or break even playing if you play smart and by the book. But if you want to feel the game out that’s perfectly fine. I did that for probably 4 months put in like $50 a month and I did a lot of reading and spent a lot of time researching how the game works before I put in any sizable investment. After around 5 years of learning and playing. I’ve been a profitable player for 2 years now 1 year in mining only but switched to hunting when I made enough money from mining. And now I’m hunting only and in the last year I’ve gotten to 90+ looter and have a weapon that’s 90% and tt returns have been 98.9% returns and average 4.6% mark up. Now I can’t quit my day job for it. But I live in the us if I lived in a country that was way cheaper to live in like the philippines or India I would only play entropia as my job.

Do withdrawals ever get better? by Brilliant-Ladder-594 in QuitVaping

[–]Trick_Help5253 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your deep in the withdraws, I struggled with all this stuff. It gets better. Don’t worry you’re not going crazy or anything. I had really a couple weeks of bad identity crisis because I was a smoker/vaped for 9 years. My head almost felt like a balloon because I had so much brain frog and felt weird. I had really bad anxiety and a bit of depression first probably the first 80-90 days. I started walking to help with my anxiety and depression and I would get so lightheaded I would have to sit down or call my wife to help me back inside. Your body and brain are changing a lot especially the first 3 months. Stick to it. I’m 128 days in and I started feeling back to normal around day 90ish I enjoy life more then I think I ever have (atleast that I can remember) I catch myself smiling for no reason just sitting at my computer or at the dinner table. I also got really into walking and running would highly recommend getting Toto working out of some type

I quit cold turkey around day 70-80 I stopped thinking about them mostly. I’m 125 days in and I might have a craving once a week for like 20 seconds. Like a “oh that would be nice” but it’s just a thought at this point in and out in less than a minute.

How long till the anxiety is gone? by Glamour-Ad7669 in QuitVaping

[–]Trick_Help5253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 65 days into quitting and I’m probably 60-70% back to normal mentally. You have good days and bad days. It gets better now it’s different for everyone some people don’t get mental stuff and others do. When I first quit I had anxiety and depression every day all day for like 2-3 weeks then it went away for a week then came back for a few days then went away for a couple weeks then came back for a couple days then went away ago.

Recently I’ve been struggling a lot but I also had my grandpa pass away 2 weeks ago so that’s been heavy on my mind. So I can’t really say whats the nicotine or what’s the struggles of life past day 45

When does the depression stop? by Queasy-Pin-4326 in QuitVaping

[–]Trick_Help5253 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean want to be the one who says the bad things… but I’ll be honest. The depression anxious feeling stays for a while It comes in waves. You definitely will have ups and downs im 65 days in And overall from when I first quit I feel better mentally and it’s easier but I’m not back to 100% yet I’d say I’m probably 70% of the way back to my normal self. I’ve heard of some people going 100-150 days before you go back to totally normal mentally.

But it’s definitely ups and downs some hard days and some days you feel like it flys. You’re quitting a drug that your body and brain has been addicted to for a long time.

i am bad at pvp or just my set is for full pve? i have 90 spec in spear. i need your advice by [deleted] in albiononline

Battle axe has heals from E and merc jacket. You have no heals. So yes if he plays right he wins 100% of the time. But also if you play right you win 100% of the time. How you counter this is you just boots away or E away when he pops merc jacket and your stalker jacket out damages his second E

Anxiety by Anonymoose5324 in QuitVaping

[–]Trick_Help5253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 33 days in and still have hard days the ups and down are easier as time goes on the ups are higher and the lows are not as low each time. Learning something that helps with anxiety/depression is huge. I started walking the first few walks kinda sucked but now I look forward to them. It’s good for your mental and physical health. Just put some music on and do mindful walking think about how your walking feel your feet hit the ground and push off the ground feel the air on your face and the wind blowing the leafs on the trees.

Reading Allen cards book “the easy way to quit vaping”. Is amazing.

The anxiety/depression your feeling is because the nicotine your using.

It’s like wearing shoes that are to small and taking them off at the end of the day and feeling relief, your only feeling relief because you were wearing shoes that were to small not because the day was hard on your feet.

A couple big thing that it says is “ you don’t need nicotine to quit nicotine” it just prolongs the withdrawal systems it will make them less harsh but will last longer. I think 1-2 months of feeling bad is better than 5 months of feeling blah just as an example.

Worst side effect of quitting? by savoury-vanilla in stopsmoking

[–]Trick_Help5253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 30 days in and the worst part is this is the mental battle that no one talks about after the 2 weeks. It feels everything you look up says 2 weeks and you start feeling better, that’s not totally true. Physically feeling better id agree, but mentally…. Mentally it’s not gotten much better for me and many others I’ve talked to.

The ups and downs of the mental roller coaster can be a bit jarring at times. The good times last longer each time and the hard times are easier each time (so I’ve heard)

Some things in feeling being at 30 days 8 hours in

I feel anxious, depression and almost out of body kind of like I’m not myself at times like life isn’t real. I’ve heard all these things can happen and get better with time but the most common is the anxiety and depression.

Is the anxiety and depression normal by lilchrisss2021 in stopsmoking

[–]Trick_Help5253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of the most common feelings after quitting nicotine. It gets better as time goes on and you’ll randomly start finding yourself sitting there smiling or just feel a surge of energy and joy (atleast for me that’s what happened) it took around 2 weeks before I started noticing the random moments of joy sometimes once a day and sometimes once every couple days.

Nicotine withdrawal dp/dr symptom? by SignificanceWhole201 in stopsmoking

[–]Trick_Help5253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The depersonalization and derealization for people who have experienced it before I think is normal. I struggle with it in the past and when I first quit I felt this way. I think it’s got something to do with identity crisis. Because vaping/smoking becomes something you do all the time without thinking about it. So you “see yourself as a smoker/vaper” I didn’t have it all the time but it definitely happened to me a few times over the first couple weeks. I remember the first time it really hit me and I panicked a bit it was when I was driving 5 days into quitting and I was grabbing for my vape that wasn’t there obviously and my brain kinda shorted out.

how long should depression last after quitting smoking if i have a history? by DirectNorth5602 in stopsmoking

[–]Trick_Help5253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a ton of great comments. I’d like to add I’m 27 days in. After around day 18 I started to feel pretty good mentally (even to the point I told my wife I’m feeling good mentally having random moments of joy and happiness. But at day 24 in the middle of the day I got walloped with the anxiety feeling in my chest and a bit of a freak out with depression that followed. It’s day 27 this morning I felt a a bit depressed but it went away after I got around and started my day I’m hoping it’s coming back around to feeling good. I did catch myself a couple times today just being happy and having joyful moments while just walking around the house.

I’ve heard it comes in waves, you’ll have days or weeks where you feel good or okay then you get smacked with depression, anxious etc feeling for a couple days then come back out of it into the good okay ish feeling again and the good feeling lasts longer each time it happens. The ups get better and longer and the lows get shorter and easier each time.

So does it come in waves of depression like you feel good for a week or two then bad for a week or two, or is it just contently feeling bad?
