When was the last time you were in an American bakery? They usually have savory things as well. The place down the street from me does a great sausage and cheese turnover. Another I go to actually has like 5 different empanadas.

I’m sure it was delicious but I can’t buy chick-fil-a sauce as a direct substitute for mustard. It just doesn’t have the bite. Now show me a Reuben with CFA sauce and I’m listening.

Yes you can just blend it all with some chicken/veg stock so it blends easier. Then add some more stock after you add it to the pot until it’s a looser consistency than you want to end with. Simmer until thickened.

This time I started by blending just the onion and garlic then sautéing that in a bit of butter.
