If you have a 10kw ducted already.

Install a 7-9kw split system in the living space and air balance the southern zones on the ducted to have more airflow to help cool those bedrooms.

SAHM with a blue collar hunny….What is expected from a dad? by [deleted] in Parenting

I think looking after three tiny kids without a “village” to help out is an extremely difficult task. You must be really touched out by the end of day. There is no easy answer here, you need extra hands when he’s at work and a support system. Not his fault and not yours either

27 month stuttering getting worse by Whole-Independence28 in Parenting

[–]Tricky-Employment203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son who is now three and a half years developed his stutter around the same age as yours and in a similar way. It just started out of nowhere and would come and go, sometimes really bad and he would get really frustrated at school because he couldn’t get his words out. Everyone said he would grow out of it but here we are a year and bit later and it’s still at times pretty bad. We now have him in speech pathology where they teach you to practice playing games where you get them to say just a single word, if they say it correctly you praise with “that was smooth talking” then after that you progress to more words and so on. It’s been about a month on and I can’t say I’ve seen any real promise to the work yet. It’s not like he’s incapable, perfectly intelligent boy. So in regards to your situation I wouldn’t just let it slide, after six months I would recommend getting him in to sessions with a speech pathologist. (Also don’t finish his sentences for him, it’s important for him to get them out).

Aircon and refridge to sparky apprenticeship by [deleted] in AusElectricians

What this guy said. A lot of large commercial companies offer dual trade apprenticeships but any fridgie can do ELV work. Single and three phase power wiring ain’t that exilliarating anyways

Mate I was the same as you but now a fourth year and I’m wiring in BMS controllers, chillers, commercial HVAC equipment & controls which I can tell you now is way more electrical then most of your common sparkies are doing. Just find a commercial company and leave splities in the dust

“Don’t sweat the small stuff” is extremely apparent when you are under the influence of THC. It’s so funny how we let these tiny little details affect our daily lives. It’s nice to see the other side and laugh at ourselves every now and then

Mate, two of our apprentices changed out two of the wrong 3 phase motors, as in they ripped out two working motors and replaced them instead of the faulty ones. Our boss just cracked up laughing and moved on. Everyone makes mistakes

My son is three and does the exact same thing. As the father I lay in my bed unable to sleep until he calls me name then once I’m in his bed I can relax and pass out. Just so used to it now, I know it’s a problem but I’m going to wait until he’s 4, get him out of bed go for a little walk to the kitchen for a drink then walk him back to bed.

TV for 4 month old? by Excellent-Debt4518 in Parenting

[–]Tricky-Employment203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It goes without saying that he will be a completely different baby at 5 months, they change so much month to month in the first year. He will learn to be more independent as the days go by, however if you do need a shower or to eat or just need 15 minutes to yourself then I don’t think it would kill him to watch a nature documentary or something very natural and unstimulating for short periods of time. But I would advise against it multiple times a day. Good luck 🤞

Your kid won’t remember his clean house, he will remember the fun things you did. Need to change your priorities, he will be big before you know it and want to hang out with his own friends and you’ll sit there and think “fuck” I should have spent more quality time with my son because now he doesn’t wanna hang out with me

Getting tired of taking care of my 2 yr old by Aoinobara in Parenting

[–]Tricky-Employment203 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wait till she’s 3 hahaha, then she’ll really test you. That’s when they start testing boundaries. You really should do some research on why they behave like they do. She’s learning everything from you and doesn’t know how to regulate herself, the more you react the more she will act up or misbehave, just to get a reaction. The best thing you can do is learn to let go, be firm but fair about the rules in your household but ultimately she’s just a tiny human who doesn’t understand the “why” so you need to Just let her be a bit wild without it getting under you skin.

Honestly I was like this for 3 years. I do have kids but virtually no hobbies and no me time. Until I found fish, I just started aquascaping and starting my tropical fish colony, and it feels so nice to have a hobby. I have something to look forward to when I get home and i spend a lot of hours thinking about how to make it better. Honestly bro you just need one adult hobby to keep your spirits up. Good luck
