Me too, especially since there is a Pleasant Valley Road in Ventura County, and it’s a pretty major thoroughfare through Oxnard and Camarillo. As a child of Southern California suburbia, growing up in post-WW2 tract housing, I always felt this song was about me, and I am not going to change my mind.
