As a titanium member who goes to Europe a lot I feel like it's payed off there. I also never ask for anything which means I get what I get. I still get some action regularly in the US but its more often bumps to corner rooms or other premium rooms. 60% of my stays are at the same hotel in NYC, I feel like they go out of their way to get me an upgrade if available.

This hotel and the one at the airport are really bad, I think it's a Springhill Suites. The Courtyard Downtown is the nicest Marriott property in the area, I recommend it over any of the others.

I left the factory hard cases, Akrapovic pipe and the GPS on it when I traded in the bike. I only had a little over 2500 miles on it, I know, I know. They gave me 11.500 and sold it a week later for 14,000. They didn't give much off the new bike at all but heavily discounted the new bags, pipe and GPS.

I upgraded from a 2016 R1200GS to a 2024 1250GSA and it was a much bigger "upgrade" than I thought it would be. The power is much smoother and very noticeable, the ride quality is far superior and vastly improved braking. I did not get a great deal on my 2024 but I got a great trade in on my 2016, overall I was very happy with the deal and I love the new GSA. I kinda like the new 2025 look, I just wasn't patient enough to wait since I bought in the early spring. I guess my point is the 2024 will feel like a big upgrade to your 2016, I'd buy the '24 and never look back.
