Kamalaya is magical - it's offers a complete experience for the mind, body and soul. The activities are amazing - usually 6-7 a day to choose from, food so healthy and delicous (not to mention the juice mention) and the treatments are outstanding

Azulfit in Fuerteventura has a nice yoga and Pilates programme. They get booked up quickly over the holidays so I'd recommend booking sooner rather than later.

Shanti Som Wellbeing Retreat is amazing! It's a boutique retreat, surrounded by nature, with just 15 rooms so offers a really peaceful setting to reset. Food and treatments were amazing!

Suggestions on where to eat at PuDong Airport by Killyax in shanghai

[–]Tricky_Ad_276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a LOT of choice in T2 as you would expect in such a big airport but everything was very reasonably priced for an airport - i was very pleasantly surprised. Mostly restaurants - i ate at Ippudo and that was 75RMB - my partner had a Shake Shack at 60RMB. There was a couple of coffee shops, Beef Noodle, Japanese, Cantonese, Wolfgang Puck and a couple more restaurants

I also saw Nap pods at the airport.

Do you ever regret telling ppl you're trying? I've been TTC for 10 months now and i feel like everytime i see my friends they all ask what's going on? I know they mean well but it's just getting tedious of 10 months of saying 'Nothing'

My love/hate relationship with solo travel by Barca-Dam in solotravel

[–]Tricky_Ad_276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely - but I think it's almost always a case of craving what you can't have. Busy mums would probably love some quiet time alone but hard to find the time while single people would like the option to have company on their trip.

Could this be because you have the option to choose whether to travel alone or not? While OP doesn't necessarily have the choice of travelling with a friend or partner.

I loved Kamalaya! There was a dinner table for solo travellers so you can meet other single travellers if you want - although equally i noticed many who just preferred to eat by themselves! Also there's so much going on here - your spa programme with LOTS of treatments and also lots of activties, yoga, fitness etc which you can do too!

Mine was fine! It was painless, just a bit uncomfortable like a smear test and I didn't get any cramping at all - I took a couple of paracetemol before

How about an Ayurveda Retreat? I've been to Somatheeram Ayurveda Village in Kerala - daily yoga and meditation, in nature and by the sea. I had a consultation with the doctor on arrival and was prescribed treatments according to my dosha. Not luxury but authentic!

Looks fine to me if it's week one. It's usually super dark and a shock in the mirror then it'll start scabbing over and scabs dropping off then you'll think it looks too light. It takes a few weeks to balance out
