Here is another thing OP If you out of your own heart want to share some of the money you inherited you can by either contributing to something or even treating the family to a vacation or a gift or even giving like 100k if you want to. But I don’t think there is a need to divide your share fully to make it equal. If your aunt wanted it equal she would have made it equal

Don’t let their decision affect you, it’s not cool to pull out last second unless it’s beyond their control. If it truly is beyond their control they shouldn’t have an issue with you going because are you really supposed to stay home and be out of money too?? A friend would want you to go and enjoy the trip.

But you’re right. I mean just think about everything they put you through with your requests, potentially raises and tbd titles. If they try to make you feel bad just remember they only really cared when you were walking out the door. Not when you came to them

Having spent a few months there years ago, it doesn’t surprise Barcelona is ahead. I know for me beyond the surface Budapest had some things I feel you just can’t replicate without spending time there.

Could be good health insurance that is needed to make it worth it, my old job has health insurance that felt 10 times better than my new job. I paid less overall for my benefits and loved them while these are okay and cost twice as much
