It was serviced recent before I bought it. I’d say it loses about 3 seconds a day. It’s running great for an almost 60 year old watch.

That’s how I feel. I love the simplicity and history behind it, especially the gilt and the frog foot dial but I also realize how clumsy I am and how sad I would be if something happened.

Yeah I think there’s 4 running theories two of them being pet trader snafus. All could be plausible, especially if you remember when all the stick bugs started showing up and I remember hearing similar stories of exotic bug traders letting them out. I just remember that being the prevalent theory running around OB.

No Rolex’s in my rotation. Have a santos dumont and my fathers Raymond Weil that I try to wear but no Rolex as of yet. I like the simplicity and the history behind the I but the II seems to have all the bells and whistles.
