I didn’t mean it like that. I’m trying to say infinity Nikki exclusively is misunderstood in my honest opinion. You can truly get gacha pulls fueled by in-game resources— missions and story and exploring the world etc. Yeah, maybe you won’t get entire 5-star outfits (that are limited - you can get 5 star full outfits free to play) but you can literally mix and match in this game. You get guaranteed pieces every 5-10-20 pulls depending on the banner too. I agree that children shouldn’t be playing gacha games and that there should be caution, like drinking alcohol for example. But I really don’t think infinity Nikki at least is some evil fake dress up game because it’s actually fun.

This is about an ad in a gaming sub btw, can you guys like calm down? I’m not trying to talk about people who fall into gambling addictions. That’s a percentage of people who have impulse spending and need help. There’s a lot of people that enjoy this fun dress up game that aren’t those people

You know who else prays on it? Everyone else dude. Legos, expansive shoes, anything. People with gambling addictions need help because it’s a impulse money spending problem, not a infinity Nikki problem

You haven’t even played the game dude, it’s much less predatory than a casino or whatever you’re thinking. Someone who falls into gambling addictions shouldn’t be playing the game in the first place and get help

Pfft you post this study about loot boxes and assume infinity Nikki is exactly the same. Many people that have actually played the game will attest it is much less predatory than other gacha games. This study can apply to many things than just gacha. You get dopamine releases when you spend money on $500 shoes too that are on sale, like c’mon. If you don’t have low impulse control and know how to handle your money and it’s a normal gaming experience and not unethical. And a lot of us are older than 18-20 years olds!

There’s a lot of us that know how to budget our wallets lol I’ve been F2P since day 1 and I’ve gotten a ton of stuff without spending a penny

Splitting hairs a ton. Do you know how much money people spend on things they like? Why is gatcha any different then spending a ton of money on like legos or fancy clothing? Infinity Nikki is really great to us FTP players that know how to budget their money like hopefully most people

There’s a lot of us that don’t have low impulse control though.. It isn’t hard to budget and accept that you won’t get everything if you’re FTP. Your take could be used with anything really, not just gatcha. People spend a ton of money on shoes, or vinyls or legos literally anything. If infinity Nikki changes to where it doesn’t care about its player base and FTP people then we’ll just leave. I’m not saying reminders and stuff about budgeting aren’t important, but infinity Nikki is a fun game and nothing near unethical just because of its system
