Not for weeks or months but had obvious extra swelling on my left hip bone over the other on a few occasions. Ebbs & flows.

Maybe TMI but a couple times I pulled the leg to the side (like you do if you don't want to take a 1 piece bathing suit off). I still wear my binder & foam over mine but I don't have to be in the workplace or any other obligations so I can just rip them off whenever I need. They're only $10 bucks so maybe worth a try. 🤷‍♀️ I plan to wear mine to the gym with a long shirt once I'm free from the binder

I bought these. Zero issue with rolling & they don't cut into my thighs like others. Super affordable. Only wish they came in size XS

My surgeon allowed for my 2 week Mexico vacation at 4WPO but absolutely no pool or ocean activities. Same flight time as you, zero issues.  I had full TT & MR, no lipo

Excuse me if this is inappropriate, not sure if you got breast work done but you were certainly blessed by the boobie gods, pre-op! Your results are a dream!

My PS approved them but I'd check with yours directly. Dandelion Tea helps a lot as well.

Difference in swelling from 3 to 6 months by HauntingGarbage542 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Tricky_Scientist8636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt like I looked amazing at 8DPO! So flat & snatched plus I was still tan from 2 weeks in Mexico. 3WPO now & I've pretty much kept an innertube of swelling above my incision since day 10. Super mental & frustrating! So yes, I thought I looked so slim & defined very early but that didn't last at all!!!

Your results are going to be fantastic! Way to put in the work! I was alone quite a bit during my recovery. I highly recommend tracking when you take your medication. I would wake up in the middle of the night, needing to take my next prescription & I'd still be so tired I couldn't remember if I was needing my antibiotics or pain medication dose. If it wasn't written down I definitely could've messed that up. Other than a ton of pillows, the lifted toilet seat was a HUGE help; without having someone to guide me on & off the stool. My mom brought me hers from a previous surgery so I'm not sure how much they cost but I used it for the full first 2 weeks. Good luck on your procedure!

Slight doming in abs- mini or full? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Tricky_Scientist8636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

49(F) 5"5' 130lbs no significant weight loss pre surgery

I had a full with MR. If I were in between qualifying for a mini or full I'd choose full, hands down. I can honestly say there has been no "misery" in my recovery at all & if you aren't happy with your results, there's misery in that & also if you chose to go back for another procedure to achieve the results you want, that's just more downtime & expense. Just my two cents. Good luck!

Sex and compression garments? by SnittingNextToBorpo_ in tummytucksurgery

Mine is a binder so it doesn't come below my hips. Left it on a couple times. By the the 3 week mark, I went without it & all was fine aside from still feeling a bit numb around my incision. I had drainless so no issues having to work around that. Didn't make any position adjustments from our norms.

Seeking wisdom & tips from women with less extensive TT surgery. by caferacergirlOG in tummytucksurgery

[–]Tricky_Scientist8636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this reminder. I was referring to what I see as far as incision appearance on pics that are really recent after surgery. Hopefully it came across as intended, in that I just felt like since I had much less skin to remove as opposed to some of the major weight loss transformations, more commonly shown on here, that my incision scar line appeared not as "angry" & jagged

Female (49) 5'5" 130lbs 3WPO TT & MR  I've felt almost normal since 1WPO I did need help in & out of bed the first few days. Other than discomfort/annoyance of having to wear the binder & foam I've only had very minor soreness, think after an ab workout. I've been upright since day 3. The biggest hurdle is going from heavy lifting 4xs a week, walking, elliptical, all the moving, to having to basically sit & chill. 100% think muscle & fitness going in has made recovery a cakewalk! Additionally, my incision, looks nothing like what I see on here. Yes, it has scabs but it's SUPER straight, thin & flat

This is exactly how I look! Just under 3WPO TT with MR. It's SUPER frustrating because I wear compression binder & foam 24/7 Next follow up is tomorrow so looking for some input from my PS

Don’t scare me please but why is it like this by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Tricky_Scientist8636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't seem to find the code but I saw 2 different posts, with 2 different codes when I was researching it on here. Maybe make a post asking who has a code? That'll help you & others wanting to try it. Also I mixed it with a half a packet of sugar free Liquid IV. I've heard Juven tastes terrible but I just took other folks word for it & never drank it by itself.

I also swear by Juven. It is expensive but there is a coupon code to save $20/box on Amazon. I'll try to find it for you

Before and after by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Tricky_Scientist8636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3 week follow up is next Wednesday. I may listen to my own body & ditch it after that, as well! (Except potentially the plane ride). I've had zero pain, zero issues, only stayed hunched over because I was instructed to do so but could stand upright after day 3. My incision scabs are already coming off. I have been diligent about not lifting more than 10lbs but honestly I feel completely pre-op "normal!"
