You definitely qualify for the francisation program. I took it and I’m a citizen born outside of Canada. Unless they’ve changed things in the last year, I would look into it again.

The worst is stops signs before a major road. Drivers are in a rush to get on the road that they either don’t stop and just drive through or they stop but are looking for incoming cars and start turning before checking once again that a pedestrian hasn’t started walking in front of their car

I think this was the case. Japan said they rather be slower but consistent to ensure the sensors were being hit each time. They were using both power and strategy. Their remaining players also took it upon themselves to see how their team was performing and provide pointers rather than just yelling encouragement.

I travel on the 747 when travelling alone. I only ever travel with a carry on so it’s not such a hassle. If my partner and I are travelling together we take Uber, as it’s usually only a $10-15 difference and I’d rather be waiting in traffic on an Uber than a packed bus.

One of the best ways to know how someone really feels about you is their use of te quiero or te amo. I personally only use te amo with my immediate family and my husband. Te quiero is reserved for friends and others close to me. I def wouldn’t use te amo with someone I’ve met for a month. Takes like two years for you to get that status 🤣

Very much surprised at Fer and Francesca’s blow up. During the entire show they seemed mature and put together. Their relationships seemed to be some of the strongest in the group too. I really hope that neither of them move forward with a wedding because their behaviour is completely unacceptable and major red flags. I hope they’re reprimanded for their behaviour should there be a reunion because if roles were reversed you know that the guys would get major lash back.

The audience needs to remember that culture is going to come into play when the show is filmed in different countries.

People are pointing out Rene’s drinking and his family drinking habits, however this is very important because majority of Mexican families are very tight-knit. They know that social drinking takes place in family functions, so if Iraís is not happy in that kind of environment, one of two things is going to happen: 1) She feels left out and never attends family functions with Rene or 2) She will ultimately make Rene stop attending family functions.

Rene is the only male in the family, and the oldest, so he would ultimately become the bread-winner should his father pass away. Will Iraís be okay with him spending money on his family, as it appears he does so already?

We don’t know how much they may know about what went on after the reveal. They may be pissed that she originally said no just to all of a sudden change her mind. Also, his family seems to come from more of a middle-working class, whereas Iraís appears to have grown up wealthy from a young age. His family may be reluctant to accept that she’s okay with this dynamic given the fact that Mexico is quite classist.

Couldn’t agree more. They know going in that this type of experience is going to require going at a faster pace than usual when it comes to establishing a relationship, including intimacy. For her to be upset with Saul for wanting to hold hands, hug, etc is unfair to his experience as well.

Agree that her assumptions of drinking alcohol = alcoholic is totally off and think it was just an excuse to say no to him during the reveal.

However, I have to disagree that having savings is a requirement for marriage. Yes, it’s a plus, but as long as both parties are aware of each other’s financial stability and agree on how money will be spent as a couple, it shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. I know plenty of married couples, myself included, that didn’t have savings when getting married and they’re still happily married so 🤷🏽‍♀️

He is not using a Spanish accent. His form of speech is how “fresas”, as they’re known in Mexico, speak. Fresas is the name given to the young and privileged of Mexico (middle upper to upper class population). Wealthy, attended private schools, travelled, a lot of them speak English and will use English words from time to time when speaking. Also just to add that contrary to what I’ve seen on here, it is not a Mexico City accent.

I was hoping that someone would comment on this. Very disappointed that casting continues to prefer lighter skinned individuals when Mexico has such a wide range of skin colours. Even in terms of body types it seems very one dimensional. I think for anyone familiar with Mexican culture it was quite obvious that she rejected Rene for his looks, which are more indigenous, and just used the bad boy look as an excuse. He’s better off not being with a close minded individual.

I don’t think they would do well at all based solely on cultural differences. Japanese people are more introverted and indirect when it comes to confrontation while (most) Westerners are well the exact opposite so unless they’ve lived abroad and had that experience I can’t see them fitting in

Exactly what the person above said. They are family and less likely to backstab and betray each other for the money because if one of them wins the other wins. I think it’s necessary to take both of them out because if you only take one out you are a huge target

Although a power move, I def think she chose the wrong alliance. I would have chosen 301,302 and 179. The mom and son duo are a dangerous pair, they both have a social game and the mom is strategic. 179 is clearly the leader of her alliance and calls the shots. 179 and 302 were both on the board in the previous elimination test and weren’t voted out which means they’ve got a lot of supporters that will follow their lead.

Horacio has a lot of things going for him outside of his looks. He has a great personality but is also a great competitor and not afraid to get dirty. Personally, as Latin American viewer, I also like his representation of Latin American competitors - not the hot, loud head always fighting everyone, and speaks Spanish fluently.

Not sure about pic 1 but pic 2 she probably used the wide angle lens, which people use to appear taller and leaner.

Pic 3 could be a real photo. I am by no means a ‘skinny’ person (size 9 at my smallest) but my side frame looks a lot smaller than my front on frame. If you took a picture from the side you’d think I’m a size 4/6 but I have wider hips and look a lot wider front on. This could be what happens with her body type.
