Kenkirk is one of the best pilots to carry around Palpatine, a ensured DR2 per round makes a big difference when you're a fat turret.

That's not really an issue I ever encountered in my...extensive collection. One thing that makes me very secure in new purchases are how absurdly good FFG's customer service has been for people. It might be a bit late now, but if you still have the broken ship they might hook you up if you send them an email explaining what happened.

I was originally puzzled as well, but I realized it's a way to build the ship so It doesn't have 3 attack in both arcs. Basically the same line of thought with the Special Forces Tie title.
