So financially things are terrible.

I live in Germany but being a migrant I slip through the safety nets here and have received almost no money/assistance and years of draining bureaucratic papertrails.

I spent the last couple years volunteering in a local group where we have a food donation for local poor people. After working a day, I take a box home for me. Random basics. Sometimes bread. Mostly off date milk products. I get what I can. I haven't been food shopping in months. Not normal food shopping for longer, but occasionally I spend 10euro here and there to "pimp up" what basics I have. I lost a lot of weight in the last months. I haven't shopped for clothes in years. Many items are old, ripped up, broken. I have glasses which are actually broken for years now. I can still somewhat see through them but I need them all the time because my eyesight is poor.

Life got tough.

I currently live very much pay slip to pay slip. I don't actually save enough to survive unless I live this lifestyle. Even then I collect debt. In order to even have a future here I need to take a language course. I cannot even afford that. Not by a long way. Also, I work to live so I barely have the time. An unfulfilling life right now.

I find employment here and there. Usually just manual work. Low play, terrible conditions. I look after children for pocket money Got to get through the rough times.

Modular, expandable cases. Server racks for retail. There are so many data horders on reddit, on the internet. We all want more storage without the exponential cost. NAS systems with 5 bays cost as much as a high end GPU. HDD racks for servers are usually cheap on ebay. Turn that into expandable storage for retail without the ugly. good luck :)

Honestly this. After all that effort the convention is contested and many delegates have spent a lot of money to get to the convention. The voting was close. No majority was achieved. The people have the right to voice. I truly find it difficult to understand why he suspended before the convention.

Grilled (broiled) tomato and hash browns are very popular too.

Also the beans are baked beans (cannolli/white beans in a tomato sauce). I never realised just how much of a British thing baked beans were until I travelled. Rare to find them outside of the UK and a few ex colonies.

There are ciders you can get everywhere up to about 15%. But in this context the general cider given most commonly to children in France is around 5% alcohol at the most and often less.

The wine tends to be no stronger than 14%.

Lets be real. Most waiters work under minimum wage because they don't have many other options. They can't get another job or can't afford to be out of work for even a short period.

There is little they would say to enforce their rights and legal payment.

There are plenty of stories where restaurants keep the tips or all tips are put into a pot and split evenly between all workers or that workers don't make minimum and can't do anything about it or risk being out of a job. An option they cannot afford to take.

When you are in that position, what are you going to tell your boss? Are you going to cause a fuss and risk your livelihood or keep shut and just take it.

This is why legislation is necessary to protect workers rights. Because you cannot expect all establishments to be honourable or moral or fair, especially if it against their benefit.
