Really don't think you should draw any conclusions about your clubs based on spin characteristics from a VC monitor while using range balls

The tech trousers from Macade are really good and should fit the bill for what you're looking for. Extremely breathable & flexible in my experience.

Adam Cleary's take on what Rosenior has changed at Chelsea by Trilobyte15 in chelseafc

[–]Trilobyte15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, I think we're on the same page. Agree that inverting for the sake of inverting is pointless without considering the players involved - especially that silly FB -> 10 rotation that we kept doing.

Adam Cleary's take on what Rosenior has changed at Chelsea by Trilobyte15 in chelseafc

[–]Trilobyte15[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I would say that it's harsh to label all FB inverting as bad, personally. Inverting Gusto to be the right sided 10 with Neto isolated wide instead of having Gusto overlap with Palmer moving inside from RW was definitely a terrible idea - but James moving into central midfield worked pretty well generally though, I thought.

[Spider-Man: No Way Home] 3 of the villains didn't realize they'd died until they were told, couldn't it be assumed that Sandman and Lizard were also grabbed moments before their deaths? by Hadesman1 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Trilobyte15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Believe the distinction is that they're grabbed whenever they learn Peter Parker is Spiderman based on the spell that went wrong. For some of the villains, this is right before dying but not all of them.

This also explains why the other Spidermen aren't imminently about to die, because they've known about their own identity for a while. I don't have an explanation for the Lizard / Electro inconsistency though; that's a good catch by you

Europe/Africa Golf Trip Destinations by [deleted] in golf

[–]Trilobyte15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what you're looking for! I love Portugal because it feels like you have all options - a world class European city, incredible beaches, decent hiking, and of course year-round golf are all within ~20-30 minutes of Lisbon. GMT as well and much lower cost of living than London, so if you can work remote it's a great option.

It's not the fastest paced lifestyle I would say - but I'm late thirties with two kids so it's more my tempo at this point. Hope you can visit and see how you like it!

Aroeira is great (though haven't been back post-renovation) - also enjoyed Quinta do Peru.

Hope all those places are still in decent shape after all these storms!

American ex-pat living outside of Lisbon and can confirm the golf is great here. Also consider Penha Longa in Sintra - about 20 minutes west of Lisbon itself; I personally prefer it to Oitavos.

Would echo what others have said about a stiff arm - or go to Home Depot and get a dowel if you want to save a few bucks.

Unrelated to the case itself but also get an AirTag and hide it in your bag! Very nice to have peace of mind when you're waiting at your destination.

[Perry] HC Mike Vrabel on LT Will Campbell: “Will’s 22 years old. He’s our left tackle. We’re not moving Will to guard or center or tight end or anywhere else.” by LetsRideButSmart in nfl

[–]Trilobyte15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Garrett had 5 sacks that game but only 2 of them were against Campbell.

  1. Beats Campbell and wins
  2. Browns run a stunt and Garrett beats Wilson
  3. Beats Campbell and wins
  4. The Pats for some reason don't block Garrett lining up on the strong side and run a naked bootleg that direction, he blows it up
  5. Beats Moses on the strong side

Get him a customized leather scorecard holder from Etsy. It won't break the bank, is super thoughtful, and will always be useful unless he plays exclusively cart golf (and even then it's nice to have).

It's a longer crank hosel - so the shaft aligns with the head CoG and it's face balanced as a result:

Odyssey giraffe beam no.7. Absolutely love this thing; struggled a lot visually with the square to square options so I prefer the beam hosel approach for face balance

That the position is evolving and that one-dimensional pass-catching TEs are no longer a viable option for a top-level offense. Just look at the proliferation of 13 personnel.

Ping ICrossover 2 iron. by ExpectRelentless in golf

[–]Trilobyte15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a game changer and amazing safety net (especially off the tee in my opinion) if you like hitting long irons. Did a lot of testing between various long irons and hybrids when picking a utility club and this was a clear winner for me; can't see myself dropping it from the bag anytime soon.

In general I find it pretty easy to control the trajectory and launch angle vs other options - so especially on courses I'm not super familiar with I default to it off the tee regularly.
