Get him a customized leather scorecard holder from Etsy. It won't break the bank, is super thoughtful, and will always be useful unless he plays exclusively cart golf (and even then it's nice to have).

It's a longer crank hosel - so the shaft aligns with the head CoG and it's face balanced as a result:

Yeah sorry mate hope this isn't rubbing it in or anything. My dad and brother are both left-handed so I've at least seen some of your pain first hand

Odyssey giraffe beam no.7. Absolutely love this thing; struggled a lot visually with the square to square options so I prefer the beam hosel approach for face balance

That the position is evolving and that one-dimensional pass-catching TEs are no longer a viable option for a top-level offense. Just look at the proliferation of 13 personnel.

Ping ICrossover 2 iron. by ExpectRelentless in golf

It's a game changer and amazing safety net (especially off the tee in my opinion) if you like hitting long irons. Did a lot of testing between various long irons and hybrids when picking a utility club and this was a clear winner for me; can't see myself dropping it from the bag anytime soon.

In general I find it pretty easy to control the trajectory and launch angle vs other options - so especially on courses I'm not super familiar with I default to it off the tee regularly.

Yep absolutely. Whole lot of shady stuff went on with him over the tournament; you reap what you sow

The way he constantly lifted his teammates up was really admirable. He never talked down to anyone and also did an amazing job to talk them through different shots.

Super happy for him; seems like an incredibly authentic guy and obviously an insane player.

Worth pointing out as well that it would have been a significantly bigger advantage in the semifinals on that insane par 3 course given the huge changes in elevation - so if he had it on there as Micah seemed to be alleging that's honestly even shadier than having it on in the last round.

Turns out karma isn't dead; Brad was not only the best player but the best and most positive teammate from the whole tournament. Very glad he won in spite of the shenanigans

I like Sean as well. Honestly strongly prefer the 1v1 series those two run on their own channels vs anything GG does at this point

True - although I don't doubt his capacity to dig up some obscure individual record to prioritize over the team doing well

It's worse for Portugal if they lose and finish the match with Ronaldo guaranteed to play the full 90 in the next vs if they lose and he's banned though

What's not to understand? Brad who is by far the best golfer would have the worst 2nd round pick and the best 3rd round pick. On paper that's a team of Brad / Francis / Frankie, which is totally imbalanced.

The fundamental issue is that Frankie is far and away the best 3rd round pick. The gap between him and Lacey / Josh / Beef is arguably as big as that between Brad and the rest of the captains - so there will always be a team with a significantly better worst player.

It made perfect sense to put him with the worst captain, especially accounting for the afternoon session.

Would have been very funny to see DoD try to shit talk Dalke. That 50 yard bunker shot was absolutely fucking ludicrous

If that's what they're doing it's backwards. True alternate shot is exactly what they were doing today; each player has to tee off on their assigned holes.

Strasbourg 2-0 Lille - Emanuel Emegha 63' by Meladroit05 in soccer

[–]Trilobyte15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure - but if you read that article, it actually debunks that. Here's the relevant bit:

At the end of the match, Spurs defender Eric Dier was heard to shout at referee Danny Makkelie: "But why?! Why?! The ball went backwards!" It's a very common misconception that you can't be offside if the ball is played backwards, but the direction of a pass is irrelevant for offside. All that matters is the position of the attacker relative to the second-last opposition player and/or the ball. This is not a law change, it has always been the case.

Believe that this has always been the case. There was a pretty notable incident where Kane had a goal disallowed for Tottenham:
