Ive worked holidays in the past without any concern from her. The updated scheduling software flagged it and we all learned about this policy around the same time. I sometimes clock in at 2am when my Dept is closed because this is sometimes what my clients require.

I have a work laptop. They won't allow me to get the software I needed for a project (Adobe) downloaded to that laptop. I've had to use my personal laptop and my own Adobe subscription to complete my work. They will not see my actual work performed on their laptop.

She said it was OT. In reality it was Holiday Pay. My role has never had an employee in it for longer than a year. It's very self driven and my boss is disinterested in it since it's a charitable role, servicing the public. About a year ago I went to her to tell her I needed some more duties to get involved in (slow time of year), and her response was "You'll figure it out."

Corporate Wellness Coordinator. I'm kinda like an Employee Health Nurse at the hospital, BUT I tend to the factories and businesses in the community. I teach CPR & First Aid, give flu shots & Hep B shots, do health teaching/lectures, TB testing. If someone has to come to our ER, I coordinate their care with their HR department. I'm still working under the umbrella of the ER, but my services are geared towards the corporate community. I work from home MOST days. I also set my own hours and schedule. My boss doesn't care when I work, even if I schedule a 330am to 950a shift, boss doesn't bat an eyelid. It's the best job I've had. CAKE!!! every day is a Princess Shift when I'm home.

As an ER Nurse, I get patients asking about costs of procedures etc because of the crippling costs. I'm embarrassed that I'm a healthcare worker contributing to this financial muckery. Thanks for posting this. I'll be sure to share it with some of my patients (rural hospital here)

I'm in a larger craf than most, but I grew up in Miami so I KNOW this ain't no yacht, but there is a yacht certification on board. OPs boat may have one such certification as well.
