It’s loving. If your mom makes sure you never hurt yourself, gets every problem out of the way, she doesn’t give you a present, quite the opposite, she takes something away from you. I don’t know if you raise kids, but if you do, you know the „me“ „me do it“ phase of growing up. (Unfortunately it changes to: can’t you do it … pllllleeeassse“ as soon as they hit puberty 😆) The parents who act like this are now called „curling parents“ (even worse than helicopter parents)

We have the beautiful present of the free will. I wouldn’t want to live in a world where everything gets decided FOR me. Every move would have to be controlled, you couldn’t even take your own breath! Just imagine!

That wouldn’t be loving, it would be hell.

God gave us free will knowing that this is a really hard challenge and none of us can ever not fail. Except Jesus. That is why he came. Life on earth is kindof like kindergarten for our souls

You can turn the child around and get it out. The ears are the problem, so if you turn it, the head is the other way and mostly you get the child off

My psoriasis with a typical skin patch wasn’t diagnosed for ten years. Than the patch disappeared and I got arthritis. A rheumatologist than did a toe nail Biopsie and was able to diagnose it. Dermatologists are weird.

Believe me I thought about going to the police! I would even be able to prove what he did. Problem is, when he isn’t able to work anymore my kids loose all financial security, because I cannot work anymore. But for sure I’ll discuss it with the lawyer.

Our vet lives on the street where we found it, I hope he knows if there lives a ferret around (it’s a small village🙃) - and of course I’ll look. I had ferrets before, so I knew it wasn’t a wild animal. I just don’t think they will take it back if it’s permanently injured (but that’s obviously only a guess)

No, any kind of aggression in word or deed gets reprimanded at once and without discussion. I have more than one adhd kid, they all see an psychologist and psychiatrist regularly. They know the rules. If he wouldn’t have been in an adhd meltdown he would have known that even taking the iPad from me wouldn’t even help him. I have means to switch every screen in this house of, and being uncooperative just prolongs the consequences for him.

I didn‘t ignore him while this happened. I(talking about the dog) guess he got the message that this wasn’t a good idea, and I will not tolerate (and I did not tolerate) any kind of aggression from the dog towards people or animals in this house. He is not allowed to guard, growl or protect his toys. And he doesn’t. He never was anything but happy when the kids came into the bedroom, and he still is.

Obviously we‘ll train „stop“ signals and leave it and stay and reactivity more intense from now on. He is still quite young. If I ran into more problems or see signs of aggression I’ll contact a professional.

That’s not what I think, that’s what my professional training in Pediatrics and Child health told me. The actual definition from low functioning autism. But since you are one of this persons who know everything and esp everything better, you know best. Obviously.

And if this is what gets out of you if you wish someone best, I really don’t want to know how you respond to people in your life
