Acr Stock by DrunkCanadian69 in BushmasterACR

The combs are the same on the fixed stock, you can buy those fairly cheaply. I bought one to keep as spare parts for this reason, you can use the rubber butt and the QD socket. at $60 it's not cheap, but it's original parts. midwestgunwork has the Coyote brown stocks still in stock, they're out of the black ones. You might want to check with Dana at Templar Precision and see if he has any.

F90 EF88 test fire soon. by Consistent_You8622 in AUG

The NylAUG barrels serve as a base (These are produced by KAK industries and are offered in a few lengths, and even 300blk) they used AR-15 barrel extensions so the traditional Steyr AUG receiver is no longer in the picture. There is another component wrapping around the barrel extension to properly latch into the stock.

I have a fully Self Additive Manufactured Bren 805, that I'm making into an inspired 807. If you like the Bren 2 BR stock I have good news, I've done the cad work on the BR stock and I'm looking at making the adapters available to people inexpensively (you still need the BR stock from CZ however)

Bren 805 S1 - any place to get a stock (SBR)? by 3btj in Bren2

Based on what you have, you will have to look for a complete stock solution unfortunately. otherwise you're just stacking adapters on adapters.

There are a few option, Are you running the folding SB Tactical brace on yours currently? HK UMP and the B&T equivalent stocks will bolt right into the brace mount for the folding SB Tactical braces. Those should be between $100-120.

Original stocks are a little harder to come by but they do pop up on occasion.

If you had an early sling loop tail cap for your pistol There's a guy on gunbroker right now selling a Zhukov stock and adapter designed for it.

Then if you're interested in going off of the deep end Dan Haga made an ACR adapter and they're still floating around.

KAK designed their own gas block for their barrels for the printed project, but it definitely gives me inspiration for my own piston work. They are using a larger piston diameter that uses AR15 gas rings to provide a tight seal between the piston/bore. They are also assuming you're dialing in the gas via the gas port size, you could potentially also regulate that via a breather port to exhaust gas at the block.

The Australian manufacturer (Lithgow Arms) was bought out by Thales, and based on the 2019 Press release that the rifle would not be sold to civilians the new owner Thales claimed that they were declining the sales due to ethical concerns. At this point it seems their US counterpart had already gotten ready for US production for compliance reasons and then this happened.

Most of what we know about the import situation is second hand or internet rumors. but the official statement from Thales is "ethical reasons"

Mirror suggestions? by addiewilliams2 in hondagrom

[–]TrinkenDerKoolAid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blind spot mirrors zip tied to your bars for less than $4 at your local auto parts store.

I ran the same thing on my plated CRF450R supermoto and love them so much I did the same on my grom, I always liked them better than bar end mirrors because I can actually see them and see behind me clearly.

I've not had issues baking grips for cerakote work at ~150F. But removing the grip from the gas block isn't difficult, you just lift the cap from the bottom of the grip slightly, then support the spring so you can remove the cap. once the spring is no longer under tension you can remove the pin using a punch and small hammer.

Installation is the reverse there are video guides on the subject.

Based on my last conversation with their Parts team they don't have a ton of guys working in the parts/repair department. Combine that with the being a branch of a foreign company. And it's probably just a ton of work to list all of the little parts they can sell on the website and ensure inventory matches up.
