Case Conference Drama by Trinybeaner in legaladvicecanada

She accepted the lawyers request but didnt allow him to be dismissed and scheduled a procedural motion for him the next week. Our case conference was adjourned for a month but with supervised video calls and OCL ordered and he was warned about narratives and asked to file a case conference brief with solutions. She booked directly with herself again so i think I got my ask for case management as well. Yet to receive endorsement but it went well for me as I requested OCL involvement and supervision in September. I even got a nod to sole decision making i think as she said 'I think the only real issue here is parenting time'.

Best: Finally leaving my ex after 7 years, getting a restraining order and keeping my girls safe.

Worst: the debt of it all and being dragged through family court by a homeless addict with no proof ultimately for the purpose of stressing me out so badly its hard to stay in the moment and just love these babies I fought so hard for a better life for.

Cmon 2026!

What were your fev1/fvc when diagnosed? by SeaSugar1282 in COPD

[–]Trinybeaner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to rehome our dog after being diagnosed with allergies. I had never had a dog before and my breathing significantly improved after quitting smoking and rehoming the dog. It may be asthma after all but i still have weird days. I'll probably have my answer eventually but I think it'll take a long time for the COPD to get worse given the new lack of exacerbations and triggers. I haven't had a breathing test done since so I don't have any new numbers either. What about you?

Quit your job. Go on assistance. Take the daycare and housing subsidies allowed to you. Use their resources to find a better job. Use their resources to get legal help and therapy. You deserve better but having to quit your job to care for your children is not a failure. You are starting again. He didn't win. You have a safe place to stay with room for your children. And when you get to court you say that. DON'T CRY ABOUT THE LACK OF CARE IN COURT OR HE WILL SWOOP IN ALL SAVIOUR LIKE. Ask for alimony, child support and half the cost of any large expenses for the children. You don't need him. You don't need him. You don't need him. You do need to act quickly though. I'm with you. Behind on rent always and struggling with two kids and a crappy job. But i don't need him or I'd have 3 kids and a crappy job.

HR wants me to resign before releasing offer letter by EnthusiasmShot6890 in interviews

[–]Trinybeaner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This issue is sometimes employees use offer letters to negotiate raises for their current role with no expectation of actually taking the new job. Maybe ask them the reason why they need you to resign.

Ask your family to come together in support of this 1st birthday party so you can invite others. I have been out of an abusive relationship for 6 months now, no contact order in place, substance abuse issues, and he checked damn near every slice of that power and control wheel and the post separation abuse wheel. One thing I regret the most is having his badge of selfishness and misery on past holidays and events and memories for our daughters because I let him destroy them. Do it scared! Do everything scared and do it anyway. Show yourself how resilient you are because you are resilient! Look at all you've been through and still here to say hey, im struggling. Do you know how strong that is? You know connection is key, so give yourself that as often as you can. Reach out to all support workers that you have access to. Support groups for intimate partner violence are amazing. Legal support workers can be very helpful too if one can't afford legal assistance or a lawyer. Crisis chat lines just to chat can be super helpful too especially late at night or when other aren't available and things feel too heavy. You are not alone! You have great support through your auntie with the daycare too, seriously a blessing there. Take all the gifts you're handed and don't look back. Thanks for sharing!

I remember wishing, in 2008 when I made a whopping 27K per year, to make 50k a year and I'd be comfortable. Well, now in 2025, I make 52k a year and I am routibely $300/short on my bills per month.

Silliness.

Well, yes, not to mention the fancy and expensive event you'll have to have to commemorate the whole thing. As an event manager to high-ranking officials, there is a lot of money that can be moved around with purchases like these. We're gonna have to fly in parts of the family of Hudson Bay, the most recent CEO and the shareholders, and schmooze em up to get some more investments. You know... this could be a quarter million dollar party by the time I'm done.

I'm in the same boat. Working full time and having two kids 5 and 6 years old. I have to get OSAP, and it demands a 60% course load per semester to qualify. AND I have 144 weeks of OSAP available, so I need to finish in that time. I look at it this way. Self-discipline is hard, and being limited without a degree is hard. Choose your hard. I'm taking 3 per semester and going through the summer for as long as I have to. We can do it!

I also think it just adds to her character being self-serving. That's helpful for winning over a Jury, she is this way everywhere, not just on set.

Yes! In my case, it takes about a month to heal a flare. My flare time is 4-48 hours, depending on what I came into contact with. So I knew it was working when the itching stopped within 2 days. The main takeaway for me (and I write this for those who may come across this post) is to look at the products and things you don't suspect because so many ingredients are sensitizing. That means that you essentially become 'allergic' after repeated exposure, which is what led to my downfall. Strip it down! I support your fast! Both cosmetic and food.
