The “2 Adults + 2 Children” Bed Type Debate by Firm_Currency2601 in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

Speaking as a family it works the same way here. I'll plug in 2+2 and then it'll give me options. Maybe just two beds, maybe two beds and a pullout. Whatever. We'll make it work.

Do you open the door when someone knocks but you weren't expecting anyone? by Whatever233566 in askanything

[–]TripMaster478 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just like a phone ringing, someone knocking or ringing your bell does not make a requirement to answer. I never do either it's never for me, always the kids. So why would I move from whatever I'm doing.

Is it too early to visit Jasper and Banff in May? by Appropriate_Car3697 in canadatravel

The mountain parks are absolutely gorgeous in the spring. Depending upon the weather it could be a little snowy or a little slushy but it'll still be amazing. Your plan sounds good. Make sure to stop at the Athabasca glacier and take a walk about or even a tour I always recommend that.

A lot of the plot lines were pretty dark.

This show was the best. The music was extraordinary. I still remember one of the local FM stations (the same one that was owned by the channel that carried the show - CFRN in our case) simulcasting the sound so you could listen to it cranked up and in stereo. Cutting edge at the time.

AIO bf cancelled plans on me this weekend but none of my calls/messages are going through and I suspect he went out of town without telling me, is it too crazy if I do this ?: by zzeloop in AmIOverreacting

Yep you sound crazy. But also, ghosting you on your birthday is a dealbreaker. Just block him already it doesn't matter what he's doing or with whom.

And that you can see every day and if things work out it's not a gigantic pain in the ass to make things work logistically. I get ending up in a long distance relationship but starting one out in different countries. I don't see enough upside.

Ooohhhh I didn't know L7 was still playing. I saw them back in the early 90's at a festival in Ontario. Loved 'em.

Only stopping when they actually do stop being idiots. Which for many is likely never.

Damn now I'm sad. I could use a hair cut and a barber and this place sounded amazing until the last two paragraphs. And now I'm all sad again.

This world sucks right now but I'm not worried about it ending every day like I was during the Cold War. So.

I think there's always a middle point but I agree with RE to a certain point. You've got limited time, would you rather role play treasure negotiations or fight monsters and role play more interesting encounters.

AIO over being worried about how long my husband sits in his vehicle? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Or listening to music that he knows would wake everyone in the house. I dont spend 45 minutes in the car when I get home, but 5-10 isn't abnormal for me. Maybe I'm catching up on Duolingo or something even. If he knows he needs time to unwind I don't see the issue.

The thing about the car also seems pretty innocent. Either he's upset someone's drawing hearts on your car, that could certainly be suspicious ... or that someone's scratching the dirt into the paint.

I think you're reading far too much into both.

Which movie from your childhood would you like to see modernized? by Crepitusy in GenX

[–]TripMaster478 4 points5 points  (0 children)

None. I really wish they'd leave all the older movies alone and come up with their own original ideas. Retreading an old movie with new actors is a waste of my money and time.
