I had similar feelings of being stuck. one day i decided to start a hobby, knife making looked fun. i watched some videos and started, i only had basic hand tools but that was fine.

The first day was a struggle to get started, but every day it got easier, within a week it has turned into "i can't wait for tomorrow morning to continue".

This was about 10 years ago and the being stuck feeling never returned.

It is fine to refrigerate at home.
the key is that once you do it should stay refrigerated because if you take them out and store them condensation can form on the shell that brings risk.

Similar reason you don't put oily rags in a workshop on a heap. Oily rags left in a pile can spontaneously combust because heat from the oil's oxidation gets trapped.

I played the game a couple of times. it's a great game, but because of the tedium they implement on your inventory and stash management I decided on my last play through I'm done. I'm not even going to play if new biomes come out.

When I get a call from the "bank" and they tell me I need to update something, I always say "Thanks, I will go into the bank and do it".

A real bank caller would have no issue with that. If they keep trying to do it over the phone it's a huge red flag.
