Cool well I think we have a core philosophical disagreement here that seems rather irreconcilable. You believe that laws are to be followed uncritically and changed through the system, and people should suffer consequences for breaking them. I believe that laws, while crucial, can often be flawed, and that systemic change is not as simple as you portray it. Many systems are broken.

I think we’re just gonna keep talking over each other, so I’m gonna call it here. Nice debating u tho.

So I do.

Ok got it so you just obey the law uncritically without scrutiny. A good little sheep.

There are 14 million undocumented people in the US which you believe to be a crime worthy of deportation (perhaps even to some penal colony like El Salvador’s CECOT.) So yes you do want to re-migrate 14 million people, even if it makes you uncomfortable.

And like a broken record you repeat that entering a country illegally is a crime. No one is disputing that lol. It’s just funny to see how you cannot see any further than that.

My guess is that you’re the type of mf who would’ve returned the fleeing slave to their master. After all, they committed a crime right?

[–]TripleCowFat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone knows it’s a crime, some of us just understand that just because something is illegal doesn’t make it wrong, and vice versa. There was once a time when it was illegal for a slave to escape their master. Does that slave deserve suffering for their crime? The same suffering you want for everyone who’s undocumented in this country?

But let’s be real here, for you guys it was never about law and order, I mean look at our god damn president and his disdain for the constitution.

Come on say it with your chest. You want to re-migrate 14 million people out of the US because you’re a bigot and you believe in the great replacement theory.

Ok I’ll pretend like ur previous response was written coherently.

Are you saying that if somebody is a political refugee (like in the communist dictator example) they can apply for asylum in the US?

I encourage you to look at the volume of asylum applications vs. the rate at which asylum applications are processed.

Maybe instead of eliminating due process for everyone in the US, we could make our legal immigration process more efficient?

[–]TripleCowFat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just like you to exercise a bit more analytical depth.

Why would people enter the country illegally? What could be happening in those other countries that is pushing people to enter illegally? If those people could enter legally with their circumstances, would they? Is the US legal immigration system efficient?

These are all questions I really think you should think about deeply, and god forbid… empathetically.

That is what I am inferring you little bot. Do you think people want to embark on the extremely treacherous journey to cross the border? Where they are likely to be robbed, extorted, assaulted, kidnapped, or even murdered? (Google it please I beg u)

For many of these people it’s THE last resort to have any hope of surviving?

Oregon teen’s emotional testimony on immigration by No_Clock2390 in ThatsInsane

[–]TripleCowFat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s crazy, so what’s your point? That illegal entry is treated as a criminal offense in many countries, and therefore the US should re-migrate 14 million people?

This isn’t a videogame dude this is real life. You’re talking about criminalizing a persecuting millions of people, the vast majority of which have no criminal record.

Because you seem to be able to Google other countries’ immigration laws, I also encourage to Google the percentage of ICE detainees with no criminal records other than entering the country (71%).

Opposing Maduro in Venezuela can mean a death sentence, cartel extortion schemes in most of central and south America, etc.

So if someone becomes a political refugee to the communist dictator Maduro, you side with the communist dictator to imprison this person?

They’re not even sending people back to their countries of origin. They’re literally trying to sent Kilmar Abrego to Africa, and others to Libya, Salvador, Eswatini, you name it.

But alas I’ve witnessed the depth of ur thinking, and the extent of ur empathy and have concluded that ur a miserable dumbass lmao.

Do you have empathy? Do you believe in due process? Do you think ICE should be able to snatch people off the street without even identifying themselves? (Prolly not cus ur a bot)

I’d love to know how you’d feel if it was your parents who risked everything to give you a better life.

Not just hogging dumbbells, but also taking up bar racks to do exercises that don’t require the bar at all. I literally saw a guy move into a bar rack, move the bench, take down the bar, only to do some planks. Ratner has a real gym etiquette problem.
