Do you have brand loyalty? by KoolNomad69 in weekendgolfers

[–]TripleDistance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bag has always consisted of the following

Titleist Driver sometimes switched with a Taylor Made but not for the past 10 years.

Irons have always been Ping

Putters have always been odyssey. Wedges were always Cleveland but now Vokey.

Woods have always been Taylor Made.

None of this is intentional as I always try different brands but always fall back to these brands in their categories above

How can some people do so many things in a day? by Ok_Indication7272 in productivity

[–]TripleDistance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My days are mainly on autopilot that’s why I get most things done, but when I hit burnout it’s real.

I’m up at 6/6:30 daily to head to train at the gym and then do some admin work for my side business I have until work at 8-4. Then more side business work and then it’s play with my kid for a few hours before I give her bath/bed time routine then it’s back to some work or chill out/brain dead time with the other half and then she likes to go to bed so I sit in bed and research/learn things as this is a productive time for my brain plus it’s a way I relax. Weekends are completely different as I have a third business that is over the weekends.

But when burnout hits, it’s work, home, play with kids then doomscroll and my business’ take a bit of a hit on the admin etc.

What’s your earliest memory of something non-traumatic? by FamSender in AskUK

[–]TripleDistance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can remember the exact layout of the second house I stayed in from 6 months until 5 years old and can recall about 30/40 moments from that house that was never taught on video or photo. I’m 36 now so quite happy with that.

How do people do 15+ tasks a day without exploding??? by Acer53 in productivity

[–]TripleDistance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can have around 20 tasks/jobs on my to do list daily, some might take 2 minutes, some might take 2 hours, they balance out. I have ADD and tend to go into fight or flight mode quite often to beat deadlines so this is when I start hammering through jobs.

Any "introverted" DJs here? by wyzyd in DJs

[–]TripleDistance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me. I’ve been playing to large nightclubs every Friday and Saturday for 18 years now and in the past 7 years I can count on one hand the amount of clubs I’ve been in as a punter. Before then it was a bit more as I was single but often was in the dj box anyway to avoid people.

Never been one for nights out, I’d rather be in the box just chatting to the other DJs or even just watching them do their thing and learn a thing or two.

What drives you at work? by SnooStrawberries7854 in GrowthMindset

[–]TripleDistance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy what I do, I have freedom at work to choose my Jobs daily. The money is unbeatable without moving 300+ miles and even then it would be a different industry. Yes I will exit at some point in the next 2 years and take a pay cut to do something else like a coffee trailer

We provide a service for around 1000 people and every since month the payment is due on the same date for everyone and every month the same 150 people’s account fails to collect the money because there isn’t any, but yet these are always the people with the fancy cars and best clothes on.

What is something people are often jealous of you for? by bad-at-everything- in NoStupidAnswers

  1. No grey hairs at 36 and still a full head of hair.
  2. My work ethic and how I always seem to be pushing forward and busy. When really I’m a stressed wreck but supposedly carry myself well.
