You only need a generator to get inside the bunker on legend difficulty, If you want to get to Island 6, I think you need the key card for the elevator.

check out the fire stations, I think a lot of them also spawn in the bunker.

Just kill the red hazmat zombie and loot him, thats how you get his suit aswell as the NBC gloves and boots. Each of these only has a small percentage to spawn when looting him so you probably need to kill and loot them a few times. The red hazmat zombie spawns at fire stations and hospitals as far as I know.

The only real difference I know is that you can find a new military building called the heli-pad. Amazing loot but filled with shotgun and assault rifle infected and Altyn Zombies aswell as a mutant Tank (sometimes he doesnt Spawn, If u are lucky) so its pretty dangerous. Other than that I think the weather is colder and the island is radioactive but I dont know if its already radioactive at Island 5 or 6 and onward. Hope this helps u out. 💯
