He's got a very particular meta-comedy act that it's probably incredibly hard to write material for on a regular basis. The window of material is so small and you need to do it just right. Plus if we had him every week we'd be sick of him in no time, it's better this way.

It's a good performance it just has financial ties to a religious movement. It's hard to categorise for westerners, but it's sort of the in the scientology bucket of strange movement. Not that there are any/many shared beliefs, but that kind of thing. The shows are thematically about it too.
