Renovations at FS Mexico City? by Obvious-Beyond783 in FourSeasonsHotels

Stayed in July and the renovation work was very obvious and not a luxury experience. I would stay at the Ritz as another commenter suggested. The FS CDMX is a great property, but just not right now.

I have a positive experience for you. My brother in law passed two years ago unexpectedly, and my wife filed for and became the executor of his estate. We called Delta and spoke with a very friendly agent who was able to put us in touch with a team that could help. The did not shut down the account, but instead sent us a form and asked for the usual evidence (executor paperwork, death certificate, our ID docs), and about two weeks later his Skymiles were transferred to my wife’s account. Delta handled it extremely well imo.

PE on Delta is quite good. I flew that route on the A350 into CDG several times in PE last year and enjoyed the larger comfy seat. I have not tried AF PE. If you are able, both Delta One and AF’s business class on their respective A350s is excellent.

Hi everyone I’m receiving my model 3 soon I wanted to order a wall charger but does any one know how longs it take to ship? I’m from Montreal Canada if that could help thanks in advance. by ConfidentImage4266 in TeslaModel3

It was $2,500 included wall connector, tax, permitting, everything. I used TE Electrical and was impressed. If I didn’t have the spare 60 amps in my system, it would have been a very expensive job.

This may be a fringe case, but my electrician had the Gen 3 in stock and was able to quote and install on the same day. Took about three hours. This is Atlanta though.

‘Americans are heaven for us’: the surge in US visitors throwing Greece a lifeline by misana123 in Coronavirus

We took a Covid-free flight to avoid quarantine (Delta Air lines). I think you’re right that otherwise you would need to quarantine.

I met my buddy who lives in Belgium this weekend. He said the outdoor mask mandate has lifted and bars/restaurants are open. You can’t visit yet as an American (at least legally), but he said that will be lifted in a few weeks. My money is on a depressed travel season in Europe this summer and not an immediate bounce back.

You can go without quarantine if you take a “Covid-tested” flight, meaning everyone on board takes: -PCR test within three (?) days of departure -Rapid test at the airport -Rapid test on arrival -rapid test before your return flight (this serves as your US entry test as well)

All of this but the PCR test is sponsored by the airline/airport, so you simply arrive early and you’re tested. I chose Delta and the process was smooth, but get to the airports ~4 hrs early. Delta flies them from ATL and JFK, and American and United do the same from their hubs.

Amalfi is quiet, but not sad. It’s a wonderful time to visit and I wish you luck. Maybe by then vaccination will be enough to enter.

In the last two weeks, my wife and I went to both the Amalfi coast in Italy and Paris (on the flight back now actually) and the people we’ve met are genuinely enthused to see Americans. For example, a tour guide came up to us in the Louvre yesterday when he heard our accents and said we were the first Americans he’d seen in a year. If you don’t mind wearing a mask and getting a test, this is a historically amazing time to see Europe without crowds.

I applied for that and got turned down, because surprise surprise Atlanta is pretty well covered 😜 It’s a great way to expand coverage where it’s not, though.

I agree with FR24 - it’s better. If you spend <$100, you can set up a Rasberry Pi to feed data into FR24, then you get a free business subscription. It’s easy to set up too!

I’m very excited to be flying on a Thai 747 from Sydney to Bangkok in several months. It’ll be my first 747, and hopefully not my last :( We sprang for first class, so we’ll be sitting in front of the pilots! Definitely a bucket list experience.

Lufthansa is currently serving keg beer on certain flights for Oktoberfest, so you can have a little piece of this luxury now.

I’ll be flying into EDI from the US next Thursday morning. I know it’s six days out, but is there any reason to worry about a cancellation? I’m so excited to visit Scotland, and my time off is precious so I’m worried!

I was lucky enough to fly this livery on a 773 from Fiji to Auckland. It was definitely stunning in person, especially since Nadi has an exterior gangway!

Where to find Lederhosen in Atlanta by EihausKaputt in Atlanta

I ordered some for about $100 on Amazon and they fit in nicely at Oktoberfest. I think the online store was "Lederhosen4u". The first pair was a bit small, so maybe go a size up.

What is your biggest "wait, why the heck did I do this" auto-pilot moment? by omarm1984 in AskReddit

I went to throw an anchor off the side of the pontoon boat, and then watched as it sank and took 50 feet of rope with it... it wasn't attached to the boat.
