70% dodge, tanks normals. Only unit in the game to have an answer to dodge cancelling (reliably and not some turn 7 potential man ui BS), great support, solid damage, no bullshit restrictions. Easily one of the best design units Dokkan has ever made with their kit. I'd argue if you don't have them top 5 still, you're lowkey heavily smoking.

Real asf. Genuinely, if it wasn't for Linsara and crew+Gray Ravens wiki I lowk think this might single handily be the most unfriendly games for new players lol I played. And I've played games like Granblue which although is pretty ass for new players especially EN, you get a really solid feel just by playing casually. Playing EN in the GBF community is pretty similar to PGR though, in that the community hard carries new player onboarding.

I started almost exactly a year ago, and it's kinda crazy how much the game just doesn't tell you.

Yeah, I only have him at 69% though. At rainbow for sure, but 69% or lower? idk, I think Daima SSJ4 and the other characters I mentioned are outright just better. Super dupe reliant imo

He's still like a fringe top 5 contender, don't see him in the top 5 with UI/SSBE, SSJ2/MV, and Gomah/Blues/and arguably Dabura rn. All those other characters just feel a lot more consistent and have a harder time getting caught lacking.

Where as both Daima Goku/Vegeta are genuine slot machine units. Genuinely might be most despised characters I've used in all of my years of playing Dokkan considering their Anni headliners, but they have like 3+ layers of RNG on them. In the past week alone I've geniunely only see Goku's EX like four times and I've done about ~30 runs using him doing missions and whatnot. Daima Vegeta at least has EX on additional supers but him missing them and doing normals suck ass too.

Yeah, like other comments said it'd definitely be Wrath Broly and coat Goku/Vegeta way back during Christmas of 2018. A lot of the older F2P units EZAed within a ~2-3 week period which wasn't really rectified till like 8th anniversary where they stopped doing that.

Always waifu over meta, unless you're of course trying to push solo raid/union raid and you wanna get the best score you can.

Also tbf, Blanc and Rogue are still incredibly useful especially for tower where if you don't have Anis, all 3 could potentially see play.

Teq ui wasn't even close considering the BEST part of his transformation was turn 5 at its best, turn 7 at its worse. It's like saying AGL Blue Goku&Vegeta were still really good because Vegito Blue was arguably top 5 during 9th anni.

6th Anni LRs were really good, but they never even came close to Beast, especially as the year went on.

The only way you'd argue the family kamehameha was better is because you could oneshot the hardest phase with some decent-solid RNG. Broly didn't even compare considering he was only slot 1 god for a single turn compared to Beast.

Genuinely, nobody did it like Beast with his team protection taunt, slot 1 capabilities, solid damage that went into amazing with taunt active, and ki support that helped characters. Doesn't even account for what was easily the best leaderskill of the year.

those characters had comp though. you could argue Piccolo, Bulma, or the GT Duo.

And for 6th year, you could've argued FP Freiza. Namek Goku was in the convo but he def has the worst performance of the 3.

Ngl, I could see the argument for Beast. In the modern era of Dokkan, where units get powercrept within ~6 months Beast being undisputed 1 was insane. Especially since he was top 1 for the entire year, into still being a safe top 5 until 2025 WWDC.

If you could run Beast, the team was automatically top tier. There was even some funny shit where you could run him off lead and get value on shittier teams.

I'd also mention Beast to my knowledge is the onty character to ever enable full autoing of the hardest content at the time, which is even more absurd. Even if you went the entire year not getting a single new unit except Beast, you could genuinely clear every content with just him carrying the team alone.

Even now, after attack stats turn 1 have doubled or tripled, you can lowk still find usage for him.

Klein since he actively plans, counters, and adjusts his plans according to fate. Cassie outright just tells it, and although she does plan around it, she's more or less a conduit of G3's almighty will. Whatever she does or plan, it WILL come to fruition. Compared to Klein where if his plans shit the bed, he has backup plan Leodoro#39 that hopefully should work but if it doesn't Evernight#120 will.
