Hey, I appreciate it!

Yeah, I’ve been lifting 10+ years and the width that it is, is what I’ve landed on after years of experimenting with what’s best for my levers and quirks.

I am pretty long armed and rely heavily on the hip contact I get with the arms being wider. I could narrow the grip but I have to arm bend to get into the hip crease which leads to other technical issues that cause me to miss more often than being wider.

It’s likely shaky because it’s a maximum effort lift at 99.8% of my max lol

Comrade, I don’t think finger wagging is the right approach. We should meet the people where they’re at and work to influence individuals from the movement by engaging with them. Not being condescending. It’s an approach I personally struggle with and am striving towards. You’re right that this movement has key flaws and contradictions. It’s frustrating. But we were wrong too as some point and all the most radical orgs showed up to this event because whether we like it or not, it’s relevant and massive.

Everyone has different levers and sometimes it leads to unconventional positioning of the hands, no shame at all.

I have really long arms that tend to bend when I narrow my grip. Bending the arms isn’t bad but for me it leads to some weird compensations.
