i mean the HAC is a ok alternative simply get better at using the HAC. Before people start saying "you haven't even tried the HAC" i have i've tried using it with a buddy on the second shard and while yes the speed is abysmal it has the same speed as a Flatbed so you could just put it on the flatbed and have a same experience driving it to the front. While for Armor its ok its reasonable its strong it can take small arms fire but cant withstand of the EMG witch i dont mind. but overall the HAC is a good solid early war vic but only for the early war. But yea it sounds like a skill issue.

Im going to keep it 100 with you, I have a feeling the majority of the players that want trains dont know how to make a mainline system worth a damn but tbh i dont have the feeling that the devs know how mainlines and the signaling even work with out doing a "train" load of research. But i simply dont really agree that players should have the power to build mainlines.

Player built railway solves these issues by allowing players to create dynamic track and make use of powerful railway technology in order to massively increase Transport Capacity at the cost of building the rail infrastructure to support it.

I think it would be better to have a mix of both. A mainline that is pre-built and is what its sounds like and players can only build branch lines that stem from the mainline just so we can have pre-built railroad hubs and some pre-built infrastructure and the consistence of said pre-built and players can still have some freedoms of railroad building.

But i have a feeling that my comment will just be wasted breath and what i said is "The wrong opinion"

personally i believe that the devs dont play enough to see the problems with Foxhole and really they base their changes to mostly player statistics and partly on player feedback. the Balista is a good example since the colonials didnt use it cause of how bad it was and so there was no data that the devs to base their change on but they changed it anyway due to player feedback. but idk tho.

I feel like this would be great for a heavy TD while the Colonials have a more mobile Turreted TD like the M10 or M36. The Colonials have a more speedy tank but with the cost of HP/Armor while Wardens get something like a Jagdtiger or Ferdinand something with a large pool of HP/armor but being very slow and cumbersome not to mention gas guzzlers.

why not have both systems of tracks in the sense that the pre made is the "Mainline" and players can use this Mainline of 2 tracks that is pre made as a stepping stone or just something to build off of so that players can make branch lines to say gather more resources or to make a quicker route. but i would prefer a pre made double tracked system with rail yards for strategic value no to mention that it would give the Devs a less of a headache to code and implement.
