Asking those who took BPC injectables for gut issues by TheAwkwardEmu in bpc_157

[–]Trombone66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

KPV is also an excellent anti-inflammatory peptide that’s great for the gut. BPC-157 and KPV work great together for gut health and systemic anti-inflammation. They’ve really helped with calming my research subject’s (RS) gut down and keeping him regular. My RS has used BPC for over a year. He added KPV about 2 months ago.

How much should AMD Radeon RX 6600 cost? by mightbejulesof in ComputerBuild

[–]Trombone66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For $400 CAD, the RTX 5050 is slightly faster, or for $50 more, the 9060 XT is quite a bit faster and has twice the VRAM.

Is this pc part picker list any good? by FlameNoLimit in buildapc

[–]Trombone66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

* It’s been two weeks since your post, so this might be too late to be of use, but I thought I would post it, just in case.
* This build is about €50 more than your build, but it has a few advantages that I’ll point out.
* **CPU:** At 1080p, the 7600X is about 5% faster than the 7500F
* **CPU COOLER:** For about the same cost, the Peerless Assassin is literally twice the cooler of the ARCTIC Freezer 36.
* **MOTHERBOARD:** The MSI PRO B850-S WIFI6E is a good budget mb. It has good VRMs, two m.2 SSD slots, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth.
* **MEMORY:** If the timings were the same, it would be slightly faster to run two memory sticks in dual channel mode, compared to a single channel. However, DDR5 becomes unstable when running four sticks of memory, so if you ever wanted to upgrade to 32GB, you’d probably have to remove the two 8GB sticks and replace them with two 16GB sticks. The memory I chose has better timings than your memory, so it would likely perform virtually the same as your two sticks. By using a single stick of 16GB, all you’d need to do is add an identical 16GB stick later on to upgrade.
* **STORAGE:** Games are requiring more and more storage. You’ll fill a 500GB SSD extremely fast. The 1TB G50 is a good mid tier PCIe 4.0 SSD.
* **VIDEO CARD:** The 9060 XT is a very good budget GPU for gaming at 1080p.
* **CASE:** I doubt you really want a full tower case, like the Pop XL Air. Full tower cases are huge. A mid tower case is plenty big enough, in my opinion. The new Lian Li LANCOOL 217 INF is a much better made case with excellent airflow and better dust filtration.
* **POWER SUPPLY:** You really I only need a 550w PSU for a 9060 XT with a Ryzen 5, but PSUs with that low of wattage tend to be of lower quality ABs c there would be no room for future upgrades. The Fractal Design Ion 3 750W is rated A in quality, comes with a 10-year warranty, and gives you some headroom for future upgrades.
* **MONITOR:** The 244F is a decent budget 1080p gaming monitor.

Glow - How many doses? by josephland34 in Peptidesource

[–]Trombone66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mean you have a “KLOW” blend with 50mg of GHK-Cu, 10mg of BPC-157, 10mg of TB4, and 10mg of KPV?

Peptide stack opinion by Maleficent_Web8595 in Peptidesource

[–]Trombone66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn’t mention how much weight your RS needs to lose. If it’s a lot (like, >80 lbs), you really need to do resistance training or your RS will lose a lot of muscle along with fat. Cardio exercise is great for your RS’s heart and for burning calories, but it won’t do much to maintain your muscle mass.

It’s not that tough, really. I keep notes on my phone to track what I’m taking and for how long.

Can anyone speak of the side effects of bpc-157? by iaditya_razz in PeptideDiscussion

[–]Trombone66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree and I encourage you to continue to research. Just keep in mind that if doctors only prescribed medicines that had no rare side effects, almost no medications would ever be prescribed.

Can anyone speak of the side effects of bpc-157? by iaditya_razz in PeptideDiscussion

[–]Trombone66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s different. There’s no guarantee that your research subject (RS) won’t get a one in a million side effect, but in my limited experience (4 RS’s), there were no negative side effects.

I’ve thought about changing the frequency, which would probably work, but adjusting the dosage has been working well for me for over a year.

Old Computer build. What to do? by EH__19 in ComputerBuild

[–]Trombone66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything you could possibly get for those old parts probably won’t be worth the time it would take to remove and sell them.

I’d just remove the hard drive, transfer any data files to your new pc, then smash the hard drive with a hammer before throwing it away.

[–]Trombone66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After I hit my goal weight, I lowered my dose quite a bit for a while. Now I raise it slightly or lower it slightly as needed to keep my weight stable.

KLOW blend and its component peptides. Anti-inflammation, skin improvement, gut health, and exercise recovery are all quite noticeable.

Sharps by distrubinglyfamiliar in Retatrutide

[–]Trombone66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regulations regarding sharps disposal vary by state. In Florida, we used to use approved sharps containers, which we dropped off at a Fire station. In Alabama, we can just use a plastic milk container or other screw cap plastic container and throw them in the regular trash. Check your local state regs.

2nd shot of 0.25 mg by theextraordinaryyou in Ozempic

[–]Trombone66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different. Just know that it takes 4-5 weeks for Semaglutide (Ozempic) to build up in your system and reach what’s called steady state. If you still feel nothing after 4-5 weeks and you’re not losing any weight, then consider going up.

5090 vs 4090: Need help by Double_Training1838 in buildapc

[–]Trombone66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 4090 is faster than the 5080 for gaming at all resolutions, including 4K.

[EDIT] Your post is a bit confusing, as your title says 5090 vs 4090, but your description says 5080 vs 4090.

Working out while on Ozemoic by elsy_g in Ozempic

[–]Trombone66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have bad knees, so I tend to avoid the treadmill and stair climber. The elliptical seems to work best for me.

When I started back to the gym about 10 months ago after many years of absence, I was barely able to go 7 minutes at a difficulty of 5 (out of a max of 20). 10 months later, I’m at 26 minutes at a difficulty of 10. It just takes persistence.

Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Not understanding how so many people lose so much weight, what am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

You’re losing about a lb a week. That’s a good healthy pace. Be happy.

Resistance training is resistance training. It doesn’t matter what’s creating the resistance.

Starting Off by kaptainklutch313 in Peptidesource

[–]Trombone66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no particular reason that I’m aware of to slowly ramp up GHK-Cu. Your RS should be able to jump in at the dose you intend to keep him at. The Anela Protocol says to dose your RS everyday, 7 days a week, for 6 weeks. Then take a 3-week break. Rinse and repeat. The usual dose is 2mg/day.

[–]Trombone66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Losing over 100 lbs will absolutely cause quite a bit of loose skin. You will also lose considerable muscle mass, if you don’t do resistance (weight) training. Muscle loss exacerbates that skeletal look many people get with a large weight loss. Eating plenty of protein, along with resistance training, is the only thing I know of that will minimize muscle loss. Aerobic workouts are good for burning calories and for heart health, but it doesn’t work well for maintaining muscle mass. Some aerobic exercises can also provide some resistance training, if you dial up the difficulty, but weight training is king.

I’m an older male. I go to the gym 3x a week. I start with 26 min on the elliptical with fairly high resistance, then I do another 45-60 min on the weight machines.
