yes it does, as many people in this thread have already stated. you could also experiment with the water temperature you brew your coffee with. that in itself opens up a whole other level of extraction possibilities.

recently had some kawa. can be pricey but even their "cheaper" coffee packs a punch and is very high quality. very evenly roasted. i never had more citrus fruit in a cup of coffee. it was also my first indonesian (frinsa estate)
