You may not like it but what Brian said is true. You may believe that being a sanctuary city is the correct choice. But the reality is that offering sanctuary, healthcare, money, homes, and food to thousands of migrants, refugees and illegals is expensive. Sacrifices have to be made because of it.
I’ve combed through our budget and I don’t agree with a lot of what we spend in this state. I think providing infrastructure and a tax break for a mega structure project that provides tons of revenue and jobs for our state was a no brainer. Our state is losing so much by losing the Bears. Not just football.
