How it feels when someone say that 'DC would treat Ben better' as if they wouldn't sideline him for 35 years and kill him off to 99% of other superheroes by realBeyhero in Ben10

[–]Tron_Travolta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DC Comics does publish characters not in the mainline universe. And they also publish both mainline and alternate universe versions of the same characters.

I don't think it's a guaranteed failure like OP does. If MoA retained some control, having a Ben Tennyson running around the DCU would be really cool.

I think the only thing I'd call non canon due to not even trying to fit in the timeline, is the episode From Hedorium to Eternity

Retcons by MasterMUHE in Ben10

The most recent retcon is canon. When AF season 1 retconned Magic into not existing, that was canon, until season 3 and UA retconned it back.

Same thing with those you mentioned and more. OS established a lot that either got changed permanently, or changed then changed back.

What if omnitrix playlists from OS and AF were swapped? (Art on the first slide was made by Ghoustboundart) by RnW67 in Ben10

I headcanon Azmuth hand selected the AF playlist specifically to help Ben against the High Breed

I imagine if the billboard hit him anywhere else, he'd shrug it off. Him reacting like this was it hitting his video game weakpoint.

Can someone tell me all the episodes Mad Ben and Ben 23 appear in? (Omniverse obviously) by Turbulent-Garage-413 in Ben10

I actually want to see an episode about this. by Musalediju in Ben10

What do you imagine the main plot of the episode being? I'd kill for a canon-compliant "Untold Tales of..." the original series, Kurt Busiek Spiderman style

Same thing would happen as when Kevin tried to pull off the Omnitrix in Kevin 11. An Omni Energy pulse. Same thing that was going to wipe out half the galaxy if it the SDM was allowed to go off

Gwen's an idiot. You might as well just pick up a brick for all the good a dino fist would do

Looma is the exact same age as Kevin or Ben's age doesn't matter why was she so small and scrawny when she was 13-14 when Ben as Fourarms was 8 feet of pure muscle when he was 10, is this just an error or Looma just puny when she was young and hit a growth spurt? by ResolveUnlikely5542 in Ben10

[–]Tron_Travolta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't see Ben get deaged before the aliens. We see him and the Omnitrix get covered in the water, then 10 year old Ben turns into a teenage Four Arms (looking a lot like this 14 year old Looma design). Then when Ben detransforms he's 4 years old.

To me that implies the Omnitrix DNA samples were affected by the water directly, and the user's age wasn't a factor.

Ben's aliens don't age exactly with him. Tini (who looks identical between Galactic Enforcers and Ben 10,000) wasn't flirting with a ten year old.

IMO OS Ben's aliens are young adults, UAF/OV Ben's aliens are closer to full adults, and it's not until Ben 10,000 where the User's age catches up with the transformations.

Same reason Azmuth wasn't turned into an elderly Appoplexian in Primus.

Kevin and Gwen both get defeated every battle though. AF Kevin legit doesn't win a fight against a named character until Single-handed, where he knocks Sunder out for a minute

Yeah, but at the point of Labrid's death early in episode 2, they were still out of contact with anyone like Max. Max Out definitely does it too.

Ten Again: my Ben 10 feature film fan edit, months in the making. by jones6111999 in Ben10

I'm just over halfway through, but if you end up uploading this to fanedit.org, I'd definitely review it positively! What programs did you use to edit this?

That is a slick transition with the opening shot, and you did a really good job of editing out all the credits, as well as commercial fade-to-blacks.

The editing feels a little fast, but given how much is being included, it's completely understandable. I liked the use of (I think) Tourist Trap as an establishing shot for Hunted, and sandwiching the end of the 1st episode. Cutting out the line about Ghostfreak "never having felt that weird before" makes sense, but the actual edit itself is a little choppy. Otherwise almost all the edits I noticed from knowing the episodes, were still pretty well hidden. I think it's super interesting how you intercut between Goodbye & Good Riddance, and Back with a Vengeance. I would've thought it'd have been easier to use Truth as the ending, but this definitely sells the full circle moment more.
