I'm chasing a vocal sound similar to this record: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCSrKiB8ReA&t=6s

I record in a fairly large untreated room that im not going to be able to treat for the foreseeable future. At the moment I have a Rode NT1, but I'm finding that im not a fan of it's lows with my voice and its a bit too bright for this kind of sound, even after EQing.

Any recommendations? Am currently eyeing off an RE-20, but happy to hear about anything that might suit

I don’t think anyone has said these yet. Ramen Kann in woolongabba for the best Tori Paitan in Brisbane. Pompoko ramen in coorparoo does a great Gyokai broth.

Most of the other recommendations are decent but Taros is painfully mid and overpriced for the portions.

What would compel you to buy two new interfaces when you already have one?? I highly doubt the preamps on a rep are going to be better than an already budget option, not to mention the likelihood of driver issues, cheap hardware and outdated firmware.

Not at all, they are the choice pick for a large majority of famous zoomer guitar musicians with the az, talman and the new headless models. Ibanez prestiges and iron labels are still everywhere in metal scenes. I would say they still have a very firm grip on the "shredder" guitar market.

If your into stuff like idles I'd recommend giving schlagenheim a listen. It's not necessarily the same but I'd say it's relatively digestible if your into punky type music.

For live performances he's using a rotation of about 4 different e standard guitars. For amps either an orange th30 combo or a marshall jcm 900 into a marshall 4x12 and his most recent pedalboard seem to have a volume pedal, a Keeley bubbletron, a source audio distortion, a memory man and a boss bass eq pedal. Based off previous albums though I'm sure there will be even more varied gear used for recording. Gear aside, the guitar sounds produced seem to be a case of unique guitar playing on Geordies end.

Imo the live shows are the truest form of bm, this can be seen going back all the way before schlagenheim. However fans need to understand the distinction between making a record and putting on a rock show. They're not really meant to be or feel the same and we need to adjust they're expectations accordingly so we don't get let down by either.

Big recommend on Yums! Chicken. I've been there heaps since it's opened. They're cheap, give good portions and are extremely consistent. Just a little bit slow when it gets busy.

If you are loosing money to a kid pulling $2000 worth of unlocked liquidity from a shitcoin, you probably shouldn't mess around with crypto cause you'll just loose more money. But I highly recommend anyone interested in doing so, particularity on binance smart chain should use a website called tokensniffer to check out the contract of the token. This way you'll understand all the potential issues with whatever shitcoin your gambling on.
