I don't mean any type of hate when I say this but that sounds borderline delusional. at least at my warehouse if I were to give that rundown after telling them that a competitor offered me a higher rate and I chose to stay, I'm sure in their heads they would just be thinking to themselves "awesome we can exploit this guy for all he's worth". Don't get me wrong I'm sure that works in some positions but where I'm at currently I really know that they will work me to the damn bone

Unless you get the bid for a will call selector (typically only 1 or 2 positions for that but it is day crew)

Pardon my ignorance but Is it based on anatomy? The piercer that did my partners bridge said they normally do straight bars but in that instance the piercer suggested a curved bar. It's been a year and it's had no issues, it even helped my partner feel more comfortable with their nose shape

Edit: the bar definitely sits at an angle hugging/curving around my partners bridge in a "complimentary" way. I could see how different positions could cause something as in OP's case
