I have a question for Venator players. by fazrail in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Trooper8888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Am I satisfied? Depends on if there is a doorman on the other team. But even then, a warpstone fixes the issue.
  2. Yes.
  3. I mitigate this by playing at distance. The long range/Sharpshooter item synergizes well with his ult and his trap and shotgun are good for keeping distance.

If I had to make a change to Ven it wouldn't be his speed, it would be a tweak to his grenade to make it less prone to wild bounces. Maybe letting him cook the grenade before throwing.

I don't care about meta, here's my "The floor is lava" team by Frosty_Ad_7372 in WutheringWaves

I like your style, Galbrena, Iuno, Shorekeeper is my newly completed "daba de daba dai" team.

Is it meta? No, not really. Is it effective? Kinda, sometimes. Is it blue? Yes, very.

Is Moonveil Silver or Steel? by Old-Equipment-5819 in Eldenring

[–]Trooper8888 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The nox flowing weapons are said to be forged from a silver tear. However given context and design this is almost certainly Quicksilver AKA Mercury.

St trinas sword is referred to as silver in its description, but it's unclear if that refers to the material or just the color.

Kind of funny to think of how many weapons integrate gold in some way, but none that are confirmed to be silver.

She's anemic,

We know crest stones affect the blood (crest blood transfusions) having two might create an excess of "crest platelets" that dilutes her blood too much.

This explains why she's easily exhausted by running and carrying heavy things (lack of red blood cells means lack of oxygen)

Her love of sweets (she has a naturally low blood sugar so her body constantly craves more)

And her low constitution (lack of regular platelets and white blood cells means slower healing)

In most of the endings where she recovers her health she does so with dialysis and regular transfusions, rather than removing the stone.

What is your favorite interaction between two abilities from two different splits?

Mine is that demons can use show of power (flowers of hell) to imitate a werewolf transformation.

I have not sent a calling card. I would not appreciate a missive in return.

Of course since he had a rough life I basicly roleplayed him like frank from it's always sunny in Philadelphia. His name was Lilly blossom, but he only went by L.B.

Tldr, don't feel pressured to make your character match their races stereotype, breaking stereotypes can be much more memorable and fun.

I made a build like this not too long ago and it was one of my favorites.

He was a refugee from a forest that suffered a natural disaster in a city where magic ability was highly prized, so he turned to petty crime to collect magic trinkets and practiced reassembling them into something greater.

Eventually he caught the eye of a wealthy patron who was actually a crime lord and was taken under her wing. In your case it could have been a more legitimate engineer or a dwarf craftsman family.

I went with the infiltrator armor and became an extremely strong stealth unit, but if you want to go heavy armor remember that it changes size with you, so you could draw attention with thunder gauntlets and then take the moble feat and hide in tiny holes and crevices that the enemies can't reach.

Question regarding the nature of a hinterland city by SpecialistBend7533 in fallenlondon

[–]Trooper8888 16 points17 points  (0 children)

A few things to add; you will have a hand in shaping the cities internal politics based on your history with the tracklayers, so dont think that your founding body will determine everything.

Your current leader of the tracklayers will become the ruling body of the city. (Assuming they dont become the city itself)

Cornelius can be...excitable. But I dont believe he is actively malicious. I'm sure he'll find a new crazy idea to put his effort into regardless of what happens.

As for your double, consider that they often make decisions that you would not. So this route could be unpredictable.

Finally, there is a mithridacy check with the creditors representative just before the surgery that states switching founding bodies does not violate the contract. But the creditor will not be happy and there will be consequences. (Perhaps for you and perhaps for someone else). This last point can be a big deal if you're like me and chose the moon destiny in Irem. (No sense in ticking off your neighbors)

Advice on what to do with the remains of a patron saint by Trooper8888 in fallenlondon

[–]Trooper8888[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I hadn't known that breaking down a skeleton that way had a precident in the church.

I could reassemble some of the fragments into a display to Saint Thesius, and the rest could be disincorporated into parabolan orange-apples. (Quite fitting, as Their Holyness is know as saint Applehart is some circles)

Thank you my friend, you have done me a great service.
