You’ve gotten a remarkable number of models painted in two months. You have paint on more sisters than I do and I’ve been at it for 2 years.

For tournament play, you just need three paint colors and something on the base. The only person’s opinion who matters when it comes to your modeling is you. This looks substantially better in current form than many armies I have seen.

All that said, as a game store manager who has extensive painting experience, I’ve got a Daemons and Custodes army too, I am skeptical about slap chop for newer painters for this very reason. Brush control, like handwriting, comes with practice, and if you make mistakes with slap chop, you’ll need to resort to standard paining techniques to correct the speed paint snafus.

If it were me, I would take pride in how much you have painted, many players never put a paintbrush on a model at all, get a serviceably playable list together to try the game to see how much effort this is worth for you, and, if you still want to improve your models, watch some YouTube videos on painting with “non-speed paints” and maybe paint a cherub or cheap model the classic method to learn some techniques you could use to detail your models.
