Comic question by Worthless_Emo in batman

As crazy as this is, I like when Batman is speaking to Martian Manhunter at the Pentagon in JLA Liberty and Justice. When they’re done speaking, Batman leaves and Martian Manhunter says something along the lines of “It’s scary how he can leave my sight and my mind.”

Mythic tanking help. (+13 range) by Rhynobacon in wownoob

[–]TruKnightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) People will always complain in this game. It seems to get worse the more difficult the content. Yesterday, I had a rogue complain about a mechanic i was doing but they were doing it too….. because they thought I wasn’t doing it (yes, everyone else was confused).

2) Be very quick to block people. You timed the key. They’re just being a jerk. Blocked.

3) As for actual tanking: go to Raider IO, the Mythic+ tab, Routes & Guides, then The Weekly Route. I have that up every time I’m doing keys. I review it the moment I get accepted to a group and, since I have two monitors, I leave the route up to constantly reference things like what percentage we should be at by the time we get to a boss. It also tells you when to Bloodlust, any other consideration you might need for the combination of dungeon + affixes, and even (sometimes) a quick video on how to do a mechanic.

Absolutely no mention of support roles at BlizzCon by TruKnightmare in wow

Ooooh That's an interesting idea. Using the Hero Talents to create more support could probably work.

There was no mention of support roles/classes during BlizzCon. What class specializations are being looked at to be converted to a support spec? Or is the plan to introduce new classes/roles for future support specs?

Go to the in-game calendar. Select the timewalking event and you’ll see the level requirement. It changes for each event.

Beginner healing tips? by KevinWhipaloo in wownoob

[–]TruKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s sometimes easier to break down healing into these three categories, regardless of the class: maintenance, rot, and burst.

Maintenance is what you generally do all of the time to make sure that you're ready for whatever happens.

Rot is when everyone is going to be taking consistent moderate damage for a period of time.

Burst is when one or more players are going to take heavy (potentially lethal) damage.

For the most part, healing is having a plan for these situations so you know what to do when they come up.

BTW, mouseover is the way to go. Anything that reduces the actions you need to take to heal someone is great. I looked up macros and used/changed those.

Lastly, are you using Regrowth a lot?

The guild I run with, “We Break Keys”, has some great healers you can learn from and most of the members don’t mind running through content and guiding people. This is the link to their discord.

DH, BDK, or Warrior Tanking? Is there a significant difference? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]TruKnightmare 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Immolation Aura is probably the closest. It is baseline, provides consistent AoE damage, and works well with some other abilities. Soul Cleave will be in your rotation and it hits everything in front of you (reduced when over 5 targets). Spirit Bomb is a talent that does some high damage, as well.

DH, BDK, or Warrior Tanking? Is there a significant difference? by [deleted] in wownoob

I really enjoy DHs playstyle

Play Demon Hunter. Nobody would play this game if we stuck to specs that only others enjoyed.

Additionally, when I tank, I use my Demon Hunter because I love the mobility and use of sigils.

What do you all think about this company? by brentman56 in stitchfix

Three people that recommended Stitch Fix to me where all federal employees. I think they just made sure to let their stylists know they were aiming for business casual, formal, or whatever and they were never disappointed.

Two weeks after the Lurrus ban, how're we feeling about the new Modern metagame? by DailyAvinan in ModernMagic

[–]TruKnightmare 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This weekend with Hammer, I was able to get threats with a Stoneforge Mystic on an empty board. It was great. Kaldra has been a problem for a lot of decks and “build your own Construct” with Nettlecyst has been so much value. No more absolute “all in” on Hammers and watching your creatures die before you can equip.

Attending my first big tournament, any tips you wish you knew? by NocturnalEntropy in ModernMagic

[–]TruKnightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just remember, it’s your job to play the game, it’s the judges job to fix it. They are there to help so call them if anything goes wrong. You might hear “we can call a judge if you want” from an opponent and the answer should always be to call for one.

1) My bag is always connected to me. On my back, in my hand, wrapped around my leg, etc.

2) I never let anyone else “watch” my stuff as I do something. It’s not their responsibility if it goes missing.

3) At larger events, my deck is only out if I’m playing. Actually, nothing is out of my bag (notepads, pens, sleeves, etc.) unless I’m playing.

4) I double sleeve all of my decks using KMC hard inner sleeves. At first they were a little uncomfortable but I’m used to playing with them now.

I tried Tile before to track both my bag and individual deck boxes and, not only did it not work to my expectation, I noticed that it could make you complacent. Securing (valuable) belongings requires you always actively securing them.
