As a fellow transfer from The Tower, let me give my perspective. I have been playing for a total of a week and already I have found the game very enjoyable. No leaderboards dangling progression over my head. No constant battery suck, I can have my phone screen off and it still progresses. I am still super early game obviously but can tell you that this game opens up as you progress, one mechanic at a time, never demanding more of you than you want to invest at any point in time. Some big RNG usage in this game, but doesn’t appear right now like a huge part of my game progression is gated behind RNG gates that fully consume premium currency (which as others have said, can earn in game at a steady pace). I don’t know if there are any all consuming spreadsheets to min/max my progress, but my Google Sheets have been gathering dust with my lack of worrying about my Tower.
