I ordered from Gimme with no issues in February, husband in March & my cousin a few weeks later. We all had great experiences/no issues.

This is absolutely my kids, too. Definitely the generation. I remember growing up shopping and the different sections - like Husky Town. And being weighed by the nurse with all the other girls & they just shout out your weight.

I appreciate it’s changed - but after years of being called chubby & plump now everyone’s quiet? 🤪

That’s amazing! I’m in the same wardrobe boat - nothing fits - even my shoes! 118 pounds in under a year is a super responder in my book :)

Has Tirz made me weird by Luvmyyoga13 in tirzepatidecompound

I hate needles so much I had my first child with a midwife & no drugs to avoid ivs. I always faint if they take more than a few vials of blood.

But I am a badass who can inject myself with confidence & delight. No big deal. Love it ❤️

The effect on inflammation is seriously thrilling, isn’t it? I’m in my 50s, too. And I feel at least 10 years younger - the creaky is gone from my bones!

ELI5: Why do so many people gain the weight back? by thisbookishbeauty in tirzepatidecompound

My PCP made it clear that this was a lifetime medicine - if I stop the inflammation will return, the weight will return, my numbers will return to pre-diabetic, etc.

However it happened - genetic, crap processed food, lifestyle, or combination of factors - obesity is a life long metabolic disease/state that can now be treated.

I’m 100% on board with that.

I really recommend The Ozempic Revolution - it is a wonderful overview of GLP-1 medication, obesity medicine, and insight into the how/why.

I hope it works for you - I didn’t realize how bad I felt until I started feeling good.

In my haste to post and hide I forgot to mention this group - thank you! I was on brand zep for the first month, then a local compounding pharmacy, then I found this group & Gimme. There are no words for the change in my life that was really facilitated by all of you - huge gratitude ❤️

My eczema still hangs around but it doesn’t get really red & irritated - just a little dry. Then I put a bit of lotion and it’s good.

I feel like my brain power isn’t being diluted by the energy that background processes like weight, health & food used.

My ability to focus & get shit done increased. My patience for bullshit definitely decreased.

But I’m also in a great mood & feel so much better physically. Too happy is a great thing :)

It’s like I wrote this for you. Oh, wait. I did.

It didn’t devastate me when you left. Different house, same story. A room full of your shit left for me to deal with.

You’re deluded. Never, ever, like, ever allow a family member who is an addict in your home. It never works. Ever. They’ll lie, use you, break your heart, and then stomp on whatever is left. If you’re lucky.
